Wave 6 prediction thread

Recommended Posts

Perhaps in next few waves we see some EU ships and squadrons. I know it's a stretch,  but it would be interesting to see some different characters and ship designs. I predict that we will get 10 waves before they move on to either a 5 wave mercenary expansion or a 10 wave Clone Wars armada game. It wouldbe fun to work in some mercenaries on either side and they can be deployed to either faction. If they do a Clone Wars armada game, the core set, I would expect, we would see 4 arc-170s as clone squadrons and 6 vulture droids as cis squadrons. I don't know about ships for the sepsis, but I think we would get a Venator class as the core ship.

If any of my hopes and wishes could possibly be true...the Han Solo movie will have as a 'big/bad' the Corporate Sector Authority, and FINALLY give a proper canonization to the Victory-class Star Destroyer.  (I'll take the Mining Guild as a stand-in, as we've seen them name-dropped and on-screen since the 80s.  But, for the love of the gods, GIVE THEM A VICTORY-CLASS SHIP!)

Unfortunately we will probably just see a "local bulk cruiser" or a "big Corellian ship" whatever that means.

But that in itself could be a jumping off point to a scum faction. With all the new TV and movies we are getting in the near future it may happen sooner or later.

In the original (1978) media interviews and content, Vader's Star Destroyer was generally identified as a 'triangle-shaped Corellian ship'.

The only references I generally seem to find for 'bulk cruisers' were in relation to the Quasar-Fire type ships, where the EU seemed to treat them as freight-carrying-sort-of-things that were converted into carriers very easily thanks to their large storage bays.  (This is not without precedent, of course - consider the World War 2 "Jeep" or 'escort carriers')
