Mobility: I think if you face a highly mobile list, you'll have a hard time getting speed 2 B-wings on target without any FCT or Independence. 2. I'm not sure there's enough in your list to force some of the larger wins required to win a regional event. This isn't to say it is a bad list, as I'm sure I could take it and win a lot of 7-4 and 8-3 games, but I don't think it has a good way to FORCE 9-2 and 10-1s. Or to use IceQube's language, it doesn't create enough tempo for you. Most of the time, I'm pretty sure I can give as good as I can get with Yavaris compared to an AFMK-II, whether that is in engineering anti-squadron shots or anti-ship shots. I like FC when I'm going A-wings, or maybe a Jan/X anti-squadron first strategy. If you really do want FC in a Liberty list, the Liberty title plus a way to generate tokens will really help. Jamming field and FC really feel like they are going in two different directions in the squadron game. Jamming field says I plan on ignoring your squads while I bomb out your ships. The more bombers you have with it who can weather some attacks, the better. FC really wants to help you win the squadron game first, so maybe you could pair it with Xs and plan on obliterating enemy squads with 5 dice attacks. List 2: The MC80 is absolutely brutal here, but since you aren't likely to place it before the opponent places one of their last and crucial ships, its very vulnerable. Again, I think the list will struggle to force bigger wins on opponents. Sure, if the opponent comes right into your side arcs, you'll rack up a big score, but eventually you fight someone with a sizeable squadron ball and have a hard time getting all of your ships to target them.
