Jedifish 64 Posted October 23, 2016 On pg. 82 of Nexus of Power, under the Acablas Vergence Rules, I am not understanding the changing of the alignment. The force user has to have a force rating of 4 to sway it? Say the Vergence is dark, what exactly would they need to do to make it light? Thanks! SFC Snuffy 809 Posted October 27, 2016 I read it as saying that you need to spend 4 Force points of the appropriate color (white if you're a Light side Force-user, black if you're a Darksider). If the vergence is aligned with the dark side, it automatically adds 2 black pips to all of your Force rolls. Fortunately, Force points don't cancel each out like Successes and Failures, so you can disregard them for the purposes of the realignment. If you were lucky enough to roll monochromatic doubles, you could do it with a FR of 2. Each Force die has 3 double-white faces, so while unlikely, it's certainly possible. Of course, the higher your FR, the more likely you are to generate the 4 pips necessary. I would think that trying and failing might have serious repercussions.
