Twin City Players - FF Game Center

I just moved to the Twin City area a few months ago and was wondering how many people in the Twin Cities are planning on playing SWD? Is there a Facebook page or forum somewhere that I can join?

 

I've also tried to find out if the FF Game Center was going to have a Launch Event, but the calendar doesn't seem to indicate that to be the case. For those of you that frequent the Game Center, do you expect there to be a Launch Event?  I would love to attend the launch there with my son.

Hi, welcome to the area. I just moved here recently myself. Yes, there are plenty of people interested in Destiny and we have a local facebook group here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/306462139688455/

I would expect FFG to hold a Launch event but if not I know that there will be other places holding events.

Just sent a request to join the Facebook group. I'm sure with all of us scattered around the Twin Cities we will find a Launch Event, but I'd sure love to be a part of one at the Game Center if possible.

The FFGC will FOR SURE have weekend-long launch parties. I would bet on them running an event at least on Saturday, Nov 19, and probably the Friday and Sunday surrounding it. I know that three Games by James locations are having launch parties, as is The Gaming Goat in Woodbury. The TC SWD community is really strong already, so welcome!
