Darksbane 82 Posted October 18, 2016 After searching around online and checking prices. I think I'm going to go with this one. It's only $15 on Amazon and much bigger than it looks. I'll put the tokens in a little bag in the door, dice in the bottom, cards in the top. Can fit three decks in the top easily (it stores over 100 sleeved cards) and bottom slot is just as big so should easily hold 30-40 dice. This won't hold 30-40 dice in teh bottom slot, I'd guess maybe 12-18 at best
Ywingscum 842 Posted October 18, 2016 (edited) Going to have to break this bad boy out of retirement. Love it, I have that one and the purple Boba Fett one.Currently use them for star wars lcg. Holds a sleeved light side and dark side decks. But I'll be swapping them for Destiny. However with some love and modifications, it will make a great deck box for Destiny. I may also custom build a case based on the Starter deck dice tray. I don't like carrying bulky items with me, so making it as small as possible, while also having some room for trading would be optimal for me.

My Ultra Pro Satin is going to be lucky to get 10 even if I fill the whole thing (deck portion and all) with dice. This box would have to be Gamecube-sized to have any hope of getting 25-30. Are you aware of how big the Destiny dice are? They are much larger than standard dice. They are closer to Casino dice.

Yes, I'm aware. I'm an official demo contractor for FFG and I have run demos of this game at events for them. The dice are smaller than you are implying, but definitely larger than your standard gaming dice.I don't have measurements of the deck boxes, but I've held the dice enough to feel like I have a good idea on their size. Also, to answer your question: the deck box in question is about 150% of the size of the Satin Tower, in both width and length. That is a lot of extra space. Since the cards lay horizontal in the top compartment, you can probably fit 3 layers of Destiny dice in the bottom. Even if it only fits 3×3 per layer, that's 27 dice. FezDaBrute 28 Posted October 22, 2016 If that case is designed for standard size cards and it has a square base it should be about 90mm x 90mm or so on the base. At best the bottom box would hold 4 x 3 dice, if not then 3 x 3 easily. The height of the bottom box from the video makes me think it is less than the width of a sleeved Magic card, so I don't think it will hold 3 layers of dice if they are 22mm dice. It might but it could be pretty tight. If it worked out perfectly it would hold 36 dice, at worst would be 18. If you just took the box out and put the dice in that spot I think 36 would be likely. Severon7 1 Posted October 24, 2016 I am looking at the new twin deck boxes from UG. http://www.ultimateguard.com/en/boxes-cases/twin-flip-n-tray/twin-flip-n-tray-deck-case-200.html Regarding the dice, I really hope that UG (or another company) will come out with little adapter trays which will take 8 or 12 dice that will sit inside the deck box. Since the deck is only 32-35 cards, there is enough space for the dice in the deck box. So with two adapters, you can carry 16-24 dice. Anyway, I will make some prototypes soon. In a twin deck box that would be my light side and my dark side deck, plus the tokens in the little drawer. My other idea is to use the Mat tray from UG to hold a playing mat and the tokens and then have simple (twin) deck trays for the individual decks. 1 tropoFarmer reacted to this

It's really high quality.
GrizzFrix 3 Posted October 24, 2016 Would you want a twin deck box or a couple of single ones? Haven't put too much thought into it, but seems the card to dice ratio might be a little high with the twin box.
Amanal 2,557 Posted October 25, 2016 Man, am I getting excited for this. I have my pages (colour coded) a nice folder that goes with the pages, that box, I bought a playmat (FFG) and some sleeves with the new FFG art. The only thing missing is a dice cup. Which I have found a can-holder with star wars design that may just cover me on that. 1 tropoFarmer reacted to this

Twin Box for everyday play/trying out decks/having a spare to demo, and maybe a single box for tournament play.
Sirdrasco 254 Posted October 25, 2016 I'm thinking a plano tackle box for taking to store for casual play and dedicated deck box for tourneys.

AdmPendragon 0 Posted December 10, 2016 I'm curious what people are using for collection storage/organization. I've outgrown the little trays that came with the starters.
