Give me a list you always go back to...

The list can be less relevant than it once was meta wise but you just seem to gravitate back to it every so often...

 

For me it's Miranda and the B Boys;

2x B Wing w/ Hull Upgrade and Accuracy Corrector

Miranda w/ TlT, Lando and Adv Slam...

 

Simple, tough and well, Miranda...

I've been playing a little over a year now but never really had a go to list Id also whip out for a quick match or anything until a couple of months ago. The list being a dual Firespray Scum Boba/Kath list I always tweak just a little but, whether it be Bobas crew member or Kaths EPT I seem to be pulling that out more frequently then anything else nowadays.

Double Regen + Stresshog. Won a tournament with this list and I just like the T-70 as a good all around ship.

My favorite two lists are:

 

Bossk w/escorts.  Usually a pair of glitter-crack Black Sun Aces, though with so many new toys for the Scum I'm looking at other options (maybe Mando fighters when they release).  Bossk is a beast and there's little I enjoy flying more than the YV-666.  List as a whole hits hard and doesn't have a lot of super-glaring weaknesses (unless Bossk finds himself alone against a highly maneuverable pilot with higher PS)

 

"Whisper", Turr Phennir, Valen Rudor.  This list really, really catches people off guard and most players are never sure how to really handle it.  It's got two pilots that can move during combat phase and all three are generally hard to pin down if flown decently.  With initiative, Turr Phennir and Whisper both became **** near impossible to kill, while Rudor plinks away with Juke, typically using his Evade token to avoid the only attack an opponent might get before he boosts or rolls away (or, at worst, I get a Focus to defend a second attack with).  It's a tad vulnerable to a necessity for smart flying and the odd loss of initiative, but my local meta doesn't have *too many* PS10+ pilots floating about.  It's a really fun list to fly, and from what I understand a really frustrating list to fly against.

I'm not nor do I think I ever will be an Imperial player but I will say a precision flown swarm is a beautiful thing to watch....

 

 

Definitely. There's something about watching a swarm turn around asteroids and then barrel roll into milimetre-perfect formation which is both impressive to watch and at the same moment leaves you realising how much trouble you're in.

 

I do like swarms, and I'm always amazed by how good the TIE fighter and TIE/fo aces are for their points. Even the less impressive ones have abilties you'd happily pay through the nose for on any heavier fighter.

I've had great experiences with a Boba/Dengar build.  A lot of times with casual play I'll just try out builds I haven't done before.  However, I just bought most of the imperial and rebel ships off a friend who was leaving the game about a week ago so I'll be experimenting with those (I was a solely scum player previously). 

 

I also love to work Guri into lists when I can, though for a long time my main gaming was 80pts 1v1v1.  Guri/IG in that style of game was nutty.

Curious about your Imperial list. Does seem an interesting set of options. Are you going for the standard builds on all three (apart from Juke on Valen, that is)?

That is basically 15 wasted Points imo. How about a ps 4 z-95 or a refit a wing instead?
