Which 2 Astromechs would you take in your stretched T-70?

As pointed out by GLEXOR in the HOTR thread there is something fishy about the rendered image of Poe Dameron's Black One:

 

There are two Astromech slots... is this the fix

 

Obviously not, but I thought it would be interesting to see which two little droids would give you an amazing advantage... hypothetically.

It would definately make him the badass he should be with 2 droids. I agree with double regen droids, it would make him a monster and possibly make shield upgrade more attractive than auto-thrusters.

The more I think about it the more I like it. Doesn't make movie sense but **** a lot doesn't in this game. It would still be vulnerable to alpha strikes and swarms and would give the rebels a unique style upgrade. Heck scum would be more believeable doing this but their droids suck so hard outside a couple of specialized needs.

This. Would be very anti-thematic, watching Poe slowly roll along the way with greens and focusing the entire game and just tanking everything thrown at his x-wing better than a decimator.

 

Would be completely sick to see, though.

And assuming whatever's giving you the second astromech slot isn't unique, you can have a cheaper jinky blocker using R2 Astro and BB-8.

Tangent:

I made a homebrew E-Wing title for our office league that gives you a second astromech slot for -2 points but forbids you from equipping unique astromechs. It's part of a rotating prize package that only the defending champ gets to use. I put in the unique restriction to keep R2/R2 Corran Horn from taking over the galaxy, but it's hard to find two good generics for an E-Wing, so most of the time when the E-Wing gets flown it's either as a standard Super Corran or Ethan with an R2 Astro and PtL for two points less than normal.

ETA: I wonder if it would have been better to allow uniques but with a point limit. R2 Astro/BB-8 on an E-Wing wouldn't be game breaking, right?

I can see that my first thoughts were the same as everyone else's with an R2/R2 astro combo... 

 

...even my second go to combo has been said R2 astro/BB-8... the difference being I would put this on "Blue Ace" to get an amazing turn around un-stressed with the hard one boost.

 

 

That then gave me the idea of R2-D6, EPT giving droid on "Blue Ace" to really open up possibilities...

Holy cow! I never noticed that on the model! Since Integrated Astromech came out, I have been certain that one day we would get a dual-astromech capability added to the game. After all, it does say (emphasis added):

 

When you are dealt a
Damage card, you may
discard [ONE OF YOUR Astromech]
Upgrade CARDS to discard
that Damage card (without
resolving its effect).

Definitely a fan of R2 & BB-8. Sure, Regen is good if we're talking competitive, but I wanna see Poe dance like a sky ballerina.
