Long time lurker, never posted before. Recently got into the game and jut made my first list looking for as much criticism as possible!

 

Main questions are:

Is it survivable enough?

Is Mon Mothma the best choice or would I be better off with Riekan to maximise damage?

What objectives would best compliment this build?

Mon Mothma is fine.

Mc30s dont benefit from ecm's that much. They have redundant tokens anyway. I would drop all three ecm's. Add admonition to one and advanced projectors to another.

You have a squad problem. How are you going to activate them?

Also, scout frigates would be awesome in an Ackbar list, but Mon Mothma is really ok with you taking torpedo frigates instead. That'll save some more points

Also, since you have Jan, I assume you also have Han and Dash. Gink pointed out that you can't really activate your squadrons, so switching in some rogues wouldnt be a bad idea. Start with the Y wing if you do.

So a recap for some of the suggestions made thus far: change the ECMs for other defensive options and change 1 or 2 of those scouts into torpedos. Use the points to invest in fighter activation strategy. But really, you want a high bid to be able to go first with this list.

And for objectives, advanced gunnery could work really well here. If you add in a flotilla, most wanted would also be amazing. Hyperspace assault would be safest for yellow objectives. And really anything except minefields for navigation. Superior positions or dangerous territory would be best.

So switched the mc30s to Torpedo boats and added two Frigates for fighter activations.
