emmjay 319 Posted August 28, 2016 Old Teroch (30) -VI -Concord Dawn Protector -Autothrusters Bossk (41) -Fearlessness (or Crack Shot) -4-LOM -Zuckuss -Dengar Binayre Pirate (13) -Black Market Slicer Tools Binayre Pirate (13) -Black Market Slicer Tools 97 Points As good as Dengaroo is, it is still just a two ship list that acts like a 3 ship list. My idea is to take the best qualities of Zuckuss and put him in a ship that doesn't rely on Manroo or a 2nd attack each round. Bossk is easy to understand how he works. Use the Binaryre Pirates to block the enemy, and hopefully get a Slicer action off every now and then. Get Bossk into range 1. Use your 4 dice attack (3 + Range 1 bonus), 4-LOM to cancel a focus/evade, Zuckuss to force evade rerolls and Dengar for the attack roroll. It is possible to deal 6 damage to a target at range 1 (Crit/Hit/Hit/Hit + Fearlessness Hit ->convert Crit into 2 Hit). Old Teroch is a nice addition to the list as he makes your opponent discard all their focus and evade tokens. This makes their attacks less potent, so your ships live longer. And, nothing sweeter than seeing a Focus/Focus/Evade disappear from Soontir Fel! Finally, with 4 ships, 2 very deadly and 2 great support ships, your opponent will have a hard time deciding who to attack first.
K Genesis 176 Posted August 28, 2016 Save yourself some points and turn Bossk into a regular Slaver. You can even go ahead and add Feedback Array. Or, if you plan on making those Pirates work, turn it into a Bossk Bus (Slaver w/Bossk, Tactician, Gunner). Party Bus lacks mobility and it's easy to get behind it. Bossk's ability brings zero contribution to ammend that and the EPT is hardly a necessity. Unless you pack Engine Upgrade on him (and Zuckuss makes this counterproductive), Slaver is a better host. This way, Teroch becomes Rau. Which is just icing on the cake.
