Beginning this year, they are doing a separate Worlds event for Star Wars and non-Star Wars games. The Star Wars worlds will now replace the May the 4th Star Wars weekend they've been hosting while the non-Star Wars games will continue to be held in November. Sorry for giving wrong information. I didn't think Star Wars worlds were in 2016 because Store Championships are starting in the Fall. I believe we are going straight to Regional season after November. Which is why Regional information was posted by FFG yesterday. Budgernaut 6,255 Posted August 25, 2016 That's disappointing. Somehow my group missed that important bit of information and were looking forward to Store Champs this Fall. If there is a promo for Destiny it likely will be given out in the promo pack they give all attendees or as a participation promo for any event they run. Of course then you wonder how they do it making sure everyone gets a crack. ScottieATF 2,867 Posted August 26, 2016 I don't know if they would sell it at Worlds. They've had some early pack releases for some LCGs before, but nothing that would cause a run of the registers. They couldn't accommodate a large retail crowd along with the events. If I were them I'd do a starter/sealed event with product as prizing. You could get it into players hands without having to deal with how to go about selling it, and you very well may get some people giving it a try that wouldn't otherwise just because they are there and why not. Honestly though I expect it either to not be available at Worlds or for the whole thing to be a mess. FFGs logistical and OP execution is by far their weak point as a company.
