The is a major flaw in that art: the lightsaber blade isn't long enough to sever something that thick. This might be explained away by having the Jedi leap up to slice just in the instant in which the TIE passes by. Given the TIE's speed the Jedi shouldn't already be standing in that pose back on the ground, but that's a small quibble by comparison. This piece stretches "artistic license" to the absurd. The artwork might have been believable had the artist chosen a standard TIE/LN (which has a thinner support for the wing) than a TIE Advanced. Cool concept. Badly executed.
