Subforum Suggestions

One thing that this game will need as it approaches is a list of sub-forums to keep it nice and organized. The thought of having a trading Sub was what spurred the thought that maybe there were other Sub's that we might need, and maybe if we put some thought into it now we could go ahead and have them created before the launch so when the rush comes they have some place to find what they need. An engaged community is a healthy community, and all that. So what do you think this game could benefit from?

 

Trading Sub? Rules Sub? Deckbuild Sub? Off topic?

 

Any other non-standard ones that could be helpful?

I think with a 2 card max, a trading thread is going to be dead in the water. Just a bunch of people trying to unload BB-8's.

I think a trade section would be good. I see a lot of trades happening, if I got one booster box I'd only have half of them. There are a select few I'd want no matter what, I'm sure I'd get a few good doubles.

He comes in the starter box and in the boosters, so if you bought two Light Side starter decks, you already have the two copies required for a full play set. That means any BB-8 you pull from a pack is a wasted rare slot. People will try (probably unsuccessfully) to trade those copies off.

Definitely throw in a trading forum in my opinion. There are games, such as Dice Masters, where commons and uncommons are worth so little that trading is less noticeable.  They still have dedicated subforum trading sites, and trading for SWL will be present on http://tradecardsonline.com as well. That's already confirmed.

 

With some players needing 2 dice per character and other playing less seriously, we are going to see exchanges happen. It would be convenient to have it here. These FFG forums look and function pretty well.

 

I vote we include one here.  Can't hurt.

There are some cards that will only be in the starters that you may have trouble getting multiple copies (or dice), for example, Finn is only coming with one die.
