Rakaydos 4,236 Posted August 25, 2016 Co-Pilot: Co-piloting check: 3eA+2eD 1 failure, 1 advantage (The advantage goes to giving the pilot a Boost die.) Pilot: Piloting check: 1eA+2eP+1eB+2eD+1eC+2eS 3 successes, 4 threat, 1 Triumph (4 successes with the Battle Meditation bonus.) The ship finished spinning to face the direcion it was coming from, and the main engines lit off just as you begin to pass the defence guns. The dorenok that fell from the platform took the opportunity to charge- only to be lanced by an air defence cannon from the cliff wall and spiraling to the canyon floor. Other shots go high, engaging the unseen creatures attacking to top of the corvette. The creatures topside leap off, charging the guns- several of them clawing throguh the canon walls. As the ship comes to a near stop just short of the gate in the shield, you can see upcanyon several of the defence guns go silent.

Lareg 367 Posted August 25, 2016 Shad steps back and intercepts the slashes withs his lightsaber, the blue blade blocking one of the slash but can't stop the other claws from ripping his tunic, and scratching the flesh below, which reddens from some blood. Then the zabrak follows the ship movement to keep his balance among the gushing wind raising his blade to protect himself and calls on the Force, letting it flow through him to strengthen his body and expanding his senses feeling the intentions of the beasts and anticipating them with his saber. Incidental:use Parry (suffers 3 strains and reduces damages by 4) Manouver: Activates Force Protection talent committing 1 Force die (+1 soak) suffers 1 strain Action: activates the Sense Power control upgrade committing 1 Force die (upgrades the attack against Shad)
dengarboys 22 Posted August 25, 2016 (edited) From his position on the cold, durasteel floor, Soryn looks out of the open cargo hatch as the ship turns and sees heavy laser fire tear through the winged beast he had just been fighting. It seems the forces at the base were responding to their situation and shooting down the creatures where they could. Looking back at the melee, still raging in the confines of the cargo hold, the Pau'an Padawan sees Shad and Kor take hits. He leaps back to his feet, wobbling somewhat as the ship shudders, before falling back into his fencing posture and darting forward, attacking the nearby Sithspawn from behind.Maneuver - Stand up from ProneAction - Attack with Lightsaber Attacking winged beasts from behind: 2eP+2eA+1eB+2eS+2eD 4 failures, 2 advantage Stumbling and losing his footing, Soryn sails past his intended target, bulling into the mob that are fighting and knocking them about. It's not elegant in the slightest, but he hopes his compatriots can utilize the distraction and find their marks.Outcome - 0 damage (miss), passing 2 boost to whoever goes next (or if we're out of people, two setback to the creatures). Rakaydos 4,236 Posted August 27, 2016 The canyon blocking blast doors slowly grind open, and the ship slides inside the shield. "We can take it fro here, commander. Tassedar 158 Posted August 27, 2016 Tessrah held her side from the blow from the beast cutting the synthrope she retreated into the ship. She was visibily hurt and unable to bring more to the fight. She closed a Door behind her slumping behind a wall examining the deep wound she suffered. "goddess please protect them for me" she held her side ashamed she was unable to help her fellow jedi especially Kor. She wanted to show him she was strong instead she slinked away rather than fight at his side. She held her head on her knees. "am I that useless?" dengarboys 22 Posted August 27, 2016 (edited) As the ship began its descent into the base proper, Soryn realized the danger of letting the winged creatures loose inside the shield. "We have to bring these things down, immediately. We cannot risk them getting loose in the base," he cries over the din of battle, dodging away from grasping claws and snapping jaws, "Finish them off before we land!" And with that he searches for an opening and lunges in again, his blue saber a bright spear of light piercing towards the beasts. Maneuver - AimAction - Attack the weaker of the two creatures Attacking the weakest of the two creatures: 2eP+2eA+1eB+2eD+2eS 4 failures, 4 advantage Again, Soryn attempts a killing blow, but only manages to disrupt the melee, hopefully providing someone a chance to end it. He is furious with himself for his lack of finesse and inability to land solid hits on the Sithspawn. His irritation flares into outright anger when he sees Tessrah slinking out of the fight and into another section of the ship, closing the door behind her to boot. Quelling the distraction, he prepares himself for the counterattack. Outcome - Miss (0 damage), passing 4 Boost Dice to next check/dividing them across remaining. The Shy Ion 502 Posted August 28, 2016 Outside the loading bay, Dera stops as she sees Tessrah. Her expression shifts from determination to worry; the fight has obviously been a difficult one, and she feels a bit guilty that she wasn't able to assist in the loading bay sooner—even if she was more useful on the bridge. "Tessrah," she says, kneeling down next to the Togruta, "are you alright?" But she isn't; that's obvious. Dera reaches out with the Force, feeling where Tessrah's presence flickers with pain. "Hold still," she whispers. "I'm going to heal you now." It's hard; Dera is more worried than she'd admit. There's so much that could go wrong—but she can't leave Tessrah injured. She bows her head and traces her fingers through the air above each wound, perhaps a bit carelessly—the injuries sting as they close. She doesn't have time to heal every injury, either, but she can at least fix a few. When she's done, she puts a hand on Tessrah's shoulder. "Can you walk?" she murmurs, then shakes her head. "No. Wrong question. Can you fight? We've a long day ahead of us yet." Maneuver: Move from Medium to Short range. Second maneuver: Engage Tessrah. The strain cost is negated by the earlier two advantage. Action: Heal Tessrah. Destiny point flipped, Conflict taken. Tessrah heals three wounds. Tassedar 158 Posted August 28, 2016 (edited) Tessrah stirred she was hurt but not out of the fight completely. Dera felt the emotions of disappointment that Tessrah felt of herself. Tessrah felt the energy from the force heal some of the the wounds she suffered from the beast. "I can always fight, but I always fought droids with blasters never these kind of things. I was expecting to go to training and brought nothing durable to fight in." she tore a strip of tattered cloth from the sleeve of her shirt revealing some more white stripes laced over the sea of redish orange skin. "Thank you, I can help still but I doubt I could take a real hit from those things again." Dera could see that Tessrah was always willing to take on challenges but knew when she was outmatched. "I am probably not as durable as the others but I know my limitations." she held her Saber firmly. "They are through there" she pointed at the door. The Shy Ion 502 Posted August 28, 2016 Dera pulls her holdout blaster from its pocket in her coat and holds it out to Tessrah. "Here. I'll go in first, you find cover. I'll stay close." Tassedar 158 Posted August 29, 2016 Tessrah looked at the blaster for a moment. "that won't help much in there, even light sabers have a tough time cutting these things.
