Tessrah moved her small light to take in what she had. "Umm looks like power regulators and the main power node to them and....nice vote chancellor Valorum stickers everywhere. Someone was a fan when they put this bucket together. Oh right shield regulator, where are you ah there you are. Dear God it's so dirty in here contact grease and dust everywhere. I am really going to need a bath after this ugh I think some of it is on my monitrails"

Co-pilot's check:

Co-Pilot check: 3eA+2eD 0 successes, 3 advantage

a-s.pnga-a-a.pnga-a-a.pngd-f-th.pngd--.png

(With the Battle Meditation bonus, that's a single success.)

Pilot's check:

Piloting check: 3eA+2eC+1eD+3eS 4 failures, 2 threat

a--.pnga--.pnga-a-a.pngc-f-th.pngc-f-f.pngd-th-th.pngs--.pngs-th.pngs-f.png

(Even with the bonus... 3 failures. Ugh.)

"We've got a rock arch coming up, watch your altitude."

"I see it. Hey, where did you say those other droids were?"

"I said NO, Jenkens!"

The shock through the ship as the communication array ripped off wasnt that bad, but the communications/sensors console went blank, then rebooted, the sysems it was conneted to gone.

"Jenkens, out of the chair. I'm going to fly this thing."

Dera shakes her head. It's becoming increasingly obvious that these two pilot about as well as... well, as a couple of overenthusiastic clone troopers. "Jenkens," she says, "I'm going to fix whatever that was. Come help." She glances around the room, her gaze finally stopping on the now-busted communications array.

Aren't those supposed to go on the outside of the ship? She looks at Jenkens, then the comm array, then at Jenkens again. No, climbing around on top of the ship does not seem like a good idea right now. "Nevermind," she says. "Co-pilot. I'll be assisting." She grabs the backs of the chairs again and returns to her earlier task.

"What did we hit now!" Kor yells as he hits head on the wall. "Tess you ok in there? Soryn you still holding up, aaah my head is killing me." Looking back at the engines power readout he notices the shields definitely have more power routed to them "Good whatever Vyrr is doing the shields are being fed more juice but we still need more. Let me see here..."

Mechanics Check (2/6): 1eP+2eA+2eD 2 successes, 1 threat

p-s-s.pnga-s.pnga-s.pngd-f-f.pngd-th.png

Kor fiddles with the Wires for a little bit and eventually the power readout on the shields goes up. "Alright Tess what do you see again I can't remember through this headache. Soryn what do you see before you I need to know if I'm gonna guide you through this."

Picking himself up for the third time in less than thirty minutes, the now rather grim Pau'an replies, "Barely, Kor, but thank you for your concern. I am very much looking forward to being back on solid ground." Gauging the mess of wires, lights and buttons in front of him, Soryn continues, "And I believe I will need a crash course in system wiring. Wait, that was a poor choice of words... My apologies!"

As the ship collided with more rocks power surged through power nodes sending sparks of power though the regulators. Kor heard a scream of fright which sounded like Tessrah was not having a great time in a small enclosed service duct. "KREFFING HELL." sounded out of the hole she was in. "it's the power regulators for all the systems, I... WANT... OUT.... OF... HERE... NOW." a small whimper could be heard after her outburst.

"Alright Tess, I'm gonna need you to calm down, ok you see the regulator with blinking green light I need you remove the cover off of it to get to the wires. After you've done that you need to tell me what color wires you see." Kor says as calmly as possible. "Tess if you see a yellow wire, DO NOT CUT IT."

Speaking over to Soryn, "There should be a set of six wires what colors are they and in what order. There should also be some lights where they are connected tell me whether or not they are on." Kor grasps his head in pain.

"I think it would be a bad time to say I'm colorblind but give me a second." she pulled off another panel. "okay I have blue, green orange and red. Oh sorry that's a yellow one behind the orange one. "

"Ok if your right on the colors cut orange and blue. Once you've done that reattach the panel and push the button. When you hold it down tell me what color the light turns if it's red you can come out." Kor begins to sweat thinking to himself 'I sure hope that wire is orange and not yellow.'

Finishing her job Tessrah pulled herself through the crawlspace. When she emerged from the hole in the floor she was covered in grime, grease and all manner of muck. Her pristine monitrails and lekku had lost their luster. As she pulled her feet out she backed to a wall clutching her knees. "yeah, claustrophobia doesn't get better with that **** hole. Damnit I hate space ships." her clothes didn't fair any better with a few rips in what was once something nice.

Tessrah gave a weak smile and stood up those big blue eyes looked up. *sigh* "okay... I'm just glad I'm not wearing a skirt today, where do you want me to work." she felt oddly comforted by Kor she had to put that aside for now she thought.

Blushing Heavily "I would never think of looking up your skirt... Oh yeah the panel, you see that one up there next to the vent. These ceilings are about 9-10ft high I'm only 6'4" so I need some extra reach." Kor turns his back to Tess and gets down on one knee "That's where you come in, just sit on my shoulders." Kor wipes the sweat off of his hands onto his robe.

Tessrah pulled herself over his shoulders she noticed they were rather strong feeling under her thighs as she balanced herself. "this is going to be awkward . also I wasn't afraid about looking up my... Nevermind" he couldn't see her but she was probably blushing as well given her position.

Kor steadies himself as he stands, he sways a bit trying to adjust his balance "Here's the deal no sudden movements I may be strong but balance well that definitely isn't what I'm good at. Now unscrew the panel from the ceiling and tell me what you see. If I remember correctly we are dealing with about 5-6 wires all white but striped with different colors. What's important here is that you tell me where each wire is connected we are going to switching things around and we need to be precise."

"Six wires..." Soryn mutters to himself, "What colour and order..." Assessing it quickly, Soryn looks back to Kor, hearing him giving instructions to Tessrah regarding the way to reconnect the system. "Cut orange... And blue. But not yellow. Right. I really hope he knows what he's doing." With a silent prayer, Soryn snips the wires...

And is grateful when nothing explodes. Poking his head back out of the maintenance hatch, Soryn catches the interaction between the two Padawans, "Kor, I believe I have done the requisite step here. Would you mind showing me what to do next?"

Vyrr was thankful for hauling so much stuff with him when tremors came through the ship. His own weight would cause him to be affected rather more drastically than he was when he was sent flying into a door leading to the generator room.

'What was that?' He reached reached the others through his comm while continuing his routine to re-route the power supply. Unfortunately, no results were produced yet.

Shad hearing the chatter on the comlink realizes there must be more wires and rummages insidd the panel until he finds two more wires, an orange and yellow one. "Ok, don't touch the yellow, cut the blue and orange wires". He reaches the two wires with a cutter from his utility belt and cuts them cleanly, then presses the button until it flashes red.

Co-Pilot:

Co-piloting roll: 3eA+2eD 2 successes, 1 advantage

a-s-a.pnga-s.pnga-a.pngd--.pngd-th.png

(With Battle Meditation, that's 3 successes.)

a-a-a.pnga-s-a.pngp-a-a.pngd-th.pngd-f-th.pngc-f-th.pngs-f.png

(Flipped Destiny point, triggered Sense Danger, still one failure.)

Edit:

I messed up and forgot they were a minion group now: 2eP 1 success, 1 Triumph

p--.pngp-tr.png

(These shoulda been there instead of the greens, but I forgot they were a minion group because apparently I'm way too sleep-deprived to be dealing with dice pools. Sorry. Anyway, this leaves us with a triumph, a failure, and a threat.)

(people are always forgetting to use advantages to pass blue dice)

Suddenly, the rocks seem to come alive. Flocks of reptilian creatures with red scales and purple wings hurtle toward your ship and pursuers- apparently the native wildlife doesnt like EITHER side of the battle!

One snatches the buzzdroid that was trying to get through the cockpit, giving a close look- 2 and a half meters in length with the tail, with a 2 meter wingspan. (Hard Outer rim or Lore to identify)

The pursuing droidfighter formations scatter, unprepared for this sudden assault. Unfortunately, there seems to be a new problem, as the creatures are doing damage of their own to exposed ship systems. (collectively, about 5 hull)

The curve of the bases's shield dome is visible over the canyon wall now- the base entrance cannot be more than Extreme range away, now.

The first sense of new danger comes to Dera through the clones—something has changed. Then her focus breaks, and she sees for herself both the dragonoid creatures and the dome of the base. She lets go of the chairs. "Our pursuers are occupied—this is our chance. We have to land," she says. "Without crashing, preferably." She spins to face the clones' captain. "Captain. Do you have a personal comm? I'd contact the base, but..." She gestures towards the busted communications panel.

"Considering what's been happening to the ship... I think we'd have a better chance fighting back." Dera inclines her head. "But this is your ship, Captain, and I defer to your expertise. We'll make the landing at the planned location, then." She squints at the dragonoids, and tries to think back as to whether she's heard about these things somewhere before.
