Ferraun 0 Posted August 9, 2016 I am confused about what the rules says about search tokens and opening doors. The rulebook says you dont have to be adjacent to a door or search token to interact with it. Does it mean I can be anywhere on the map and still pick up a treasure ? If so it does not make sense. Any comments on how to interpret this rule is helpfull.
Chaoticus 141 Posted August 9, 2016 The rulebook says you dont have to be adjacent to a door or search token to interact with it. Ah, where did you get that from? Of course you have to be adjacent to a door or treasure token to interact with it, except a skill allows you to do this at a certain range (usually 3). Some scout classes have skills for that. any2cards 2,508 Posted August 9, 2016 Actually, what they are saying is that you are allowed to be anywhere on the map and can choose to click on the search token or the door on the app itself, in order to read what it says about those search tokens, doors, objective tokens, etc. That way, you can learn, especially if you forgot, what it may take to open a locked door or achieve an objective token, etc. In order to actually search, open a door, etc. you have to be adjacent to the item on the map. There is a distinct difference. 2 Volkren and maxam reacted to this
