I certainly agree that it just makes sense to pool in for something like this. I'd assume each character has their own trade resources (most likely something like Imperial Scrip, or some local currency acquired in exchange for it), and RAW mechanics just get really awkward as soon as we're rolling for something like transportation or lodging that affects the entire group: if everyone rolls individually, it reflects their own budget, but what happens if two out of three characters fail the Test; would they get left behind as the one who passed it rides alone on the bus? Likewise, if we have one person rolling for everyone, technically it means they're paying for us, but does that make sense under the circumstances?

As such, I think the idea of using Assistance rules to, depending on the situation, nominate a "Face" who acquires a Service based on their own skills, but with the entire group's resources (reflected as a bonus to their Influence), would make sense.

IF everyone agrees, I will allow assistance on Requisition rolls ONLY for Services. Not for requisitioning gear or reinforcement, as that's too personal a system and mechanically important for me to go against the concept of assistance and what Influence is supposed to represent for the game.

It makes sense in addition to the fact that I've asked to not have everyone make a roll, so there's no reason you shouldn't be able to at least help out.

House Rules as of 06/28/18

  • Character gen. Point buy start at 25.
  • Max fate threshold is 5 max wounds are 25.
  • If Possible, allow me the indulgence of using my expanded Divination table (Found in my sig)
  1. -On that table when you roll a result you may take the opposite of your roll as your result as well (92 is a 29 for example)
  • Anyone playing a Sororitas member is to roll on the Orphan Past table from DH1's Schola Progenium Homeworld IH p.20
  • You can seemingly Parry with a pistol, but when counterattacking with the Pistol you are not firing the weapon.
  1. -You are beating them with the handle of the gun as an improvised weapon (at least I think that's what pistols are when you use them in melee).
  • keep specialist talents as they are
  • if you get the willpower aptitude twice in character creation this will substitue for the psyker aptitude for willpower advancement. 
  1. -The pay off of course being that you lose out on another caracteristic app for cheaper Will since it wont be substituted.
  • Solid Slugs
  1. Solid slug rounds replace the scattershot of standard shotgun cartridges with a solid lead round, giving up spread for improved damage against both armour and flesh.
  2. Effect:
  3. A shotgun loaded with slug rounds increases its Damage by +1 and Penetration by +2. It loses the Scatter Quality.
  4. Used with: Any shotgun.
  5. Same base availability as the book meaning one more difficult than the gun itself.
  • Seraphim Jump Pack
  1. 15 kg
  2. Extremely Rare
  3. Requirements: Sororitas Power Armor, Operate (Aeronautica) Skill
  4. More streamlined and stylized, this jump pack is based off the same technology used by the Space Marines. The design has the added effect of giving the Adepta Sororitas the appearance of avenging angelic hosts. The aggressive use of them by the Sororitas has made that design work tremendously well. Aside from the normal usage, an alternate tactic, seen in the re-consecrating of Pilgrims' Pause, was as a lateral boost redeploy Seraphim strike teams while staying behind cover.
  5. This model allows a safe descent from any height, along with an unlimited series of short jumps, and and travel in any direction without regard for obstacles of up to double their Base Movement, avoiding any ground obstacles and landing at the end of each Round's movement.
  6. Alternatively, the pack can use maximal thrust to duplicate the Flyer (12) trait for up to a minute before the turbines require a minute to cool.
  • During Downtime Acquisitions you gain a +10 bonus to your requisition rolls per Inf Bonus to use for your allotted tests which can be spread between the tests as seen fit.
  1. For Example: A character with an Influence Bonus 3 could make: 
  2. 3 +10 tests
  3. 1 +0 test, 1 +10 test, and 1+20 test
  4. or 2 +0 tests and 1 +30 test
  • You may provide assistance on Influence rolls used for Requisitioning Services only. It follows the normal Assistance rules so a maximum of +20 (+10/person assisting).
