Covered in Weasels 587 Posted September 10, 2016 That's alright. Balthazar didn't have anything to say at that time, and I've had a busy couple of days. I'll resume posting now 1 Servant of Dante reacted to this
ThenDoctor 862 Posted September 10, 2016 (edited) So, just to make sure we can keep together would you guys feel comfortable shooting me your email? I fully believe that we'll be able to play in the archive, but if not for some reason I'd hate to lose the game. Just pm me one way or the other. Covered in Weasels 587 Posted September 12, 2016 I don't know exactly what ships bring the dead to Thaur. One ship might handle all the common pilgrims, but it stands to reason that influential people would be delivered individually. How do you want me to handle this? Should I just make up an explanation that sounds sensible and not worry about conforming perfectly to canon?

I know it's the Oath Unspoken's job to transport a large majority of dead from Desoleum to Thaur for penance from their civial war with another house, but other than that we can let Father Thorne define the canon of the broader situation. 3 Lynata, Covered in Weasels and Servant of Dante reacted to this
Servant of Dante 100 Posted September 12, 2016 Regardless of how that turns out, Estrlia has relic hunting on her mind now . . . 2 Lynata and Covered in Weasels reacted to this
Covered in Weasels 587 Posted September 12, 2016 Regardless of how that turns out, Estrlia has relic hunting on her mind now . . . Balthazar will advise caution first, but he does like the sound of some relic hunting after that

ThenDoctor 862 Posted September 13, 2016 I will wait for Estelia to reply to Balthazar, then I'll make a post since he asked a direct question. I don't want to interrupt her answer.
Servant of Dante 100 Posted September 14, 2016 (edited) A bit of insight into Inellia that I just had, thanks to the zeal of a certain Black Templar, that I thought I would share (if I'm honest, I'm just happy with how this came out and wanted to go show someone; ignore me at will). Inellia turns her head slowly toward the Templar, and looks at the impassive visage of his black helm. She is silent - thinking. After a time the walks over to the marine, so as to not disrupt the other Astartes. In a thoughtful, conversational tone, the Sister begins, "That is certainly a commendable dream. You would find many who would applaud you, even at the Convent Sanctorum. Many, but not all, I might add. A great many scholars have written upon humanity's destiny among the stars, our rightful place as prescribed by the God-Emperor. I have studded only a score or so of such texts, given the constraints my duties place upon my time. The oldest of these are fascinating for their archaic High Gothic alone . . ." Inellia trails off, blinking and realizing that she has veered far from her intended point, "There are many dissenting views on the topic, and I of course have my own. "It is the Emperor's Divine Will that humanity wipe the Xeno from the galaxy, and, truly, it is our duty and our privilege to fulfill His Will, but I find no joy in looking a mother in the eye as I shoot her and her child, be they Human, Eldar or Tau, " holding up her hand to ward off the Marine's inevitable rebuttal, she continues, "Yes, but of course they must die, it is realm of the heretic to think otherwise; they are simply not human. However, I will not take joy in ending the lives of those who have never held a weapon." Edited September 14, 2016 by Servant of Dante

Lynata 2,228 Posted September 14, 2016 (edited) Oh, alright. Though his question was actually aimed at Lia, who already answered it. For the future, I wouldn't have minded either way, though -- I would have simply posted two chronologically transposed pieces, one aiming at Balthazar, and another to whatever you would've added. Lynata 2,228 Posted September 24, 2016 (edited) Ariel definitely notices that a large part of Desoleum's ministry at least is heavily laced in cog like figures, lots of interconnecting pieces that form a greater whole. I couldn't help but remember this: And I hope y'all know why I'm giggling now. In a roundabout way, this would be sooo fitting for the 40k Imperium!
