CaptainTightPants 0 Posted August 3, 2016 I'm fairly new to Netrunner and recently I played against someone who used Djinn's ability to search his stack for Crypsis. He also wanted me to trash a card from R&D (he was Noise) when he installed Crypsis. His reasoning was that Crypsis is a virus even though he is an icebreaker (because virus is a subtype on the Crypsis card and Crypsis uses virus counters). I didn't think you could use Djinn's ability (click and 1 credit) to find an icebreaker (even one with the subtype virus). Can anyone help clarify the rules around this? Thanks. CommissarFeesh 458 Posted August 3, 2016 Your opponent was correct. I'm unclear as to why you would think otherwise. It doesn't matter what OTHER types the card has, only that it meets the requirements of the card text. Djinn requires you find a program with the virus subtype; Noise requires that you install a program with the virus subtype. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
