Road to Legend and Hexer's Affliction

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone

So i am wondering how do you see Affliction working in RTL? As i see it there are 3 possible outcomes, starting when the monster declares for example an engage action, followed by the hexer using Affliction.

1: The monster uses no movement spaces. This is in synergy with the rule about never moving through for example lava spaces.

2: The monster moves untill it has moved to the target or untill it has 1 hitpoint left.

3: The monster moves untill it has moved to the target or untill it dies.

Which of these 3 options would you guys say is the most correct?

2. He will engage, but stop the action if it makes it to be defeated.

Same example as a monster with the bleed condiction and with two health, he can make one action, but cannot take the second.

As kraisto said, I believe in the RtL rules it is stated that a monster takes the actions based on it's actions list but will not take an action that would cause it to be defeated.

Skipping actions section on RTL rules - pag 7 ;), for a more accurate answer.
