lewiscrisp 0 Posted July 27, 2016 Success can be yours in these simple steps Step 1: Build a list around Fenn Rau + Dengar, or as it shall now be called "Fenngar" (aren't I clever?).Step 2: Doll them both up to the nines and be as slippery as you can.Step 3: Hit harder than a train, with 2 PS9 aces.Step 4: Bathe in the tears of your enemies. A proposed list for this troublesome duo could look something like this: "Fenngar"TM mk.1 97 pts total Fenn Rau - Protectorate Starfighter 40 pts - Autothrusters (2) - concord dawn protector (1) - Push The Limit (3) - Adv. Proton Torpedoes (6) Dengar - Jumpmaster 5000 57/58 pts- Guidance chips (0)- Punishing One (12)- Deadeye (1)- Plasma Torps/Proton Torps (3/4)- Extra Munitions (2) - K4 Security droid (3)- R5-P8 (3) Running the list at 97 almost guarantees initiative, but still leaves a bit of wiggle room if you wanted to add in an illicit to Dengar. The EPT for Dengar can be traded out as well. Alternatively, the munitions could be dropped from Fenn, Dengar could be given an Unhinged Astromech and a nice little Binayre Pirate could be squeezed in for 12 points. This would clock in at 100 pts exactly, which means initiative may be a gamble, but does help put a little more meat on the table/ help with some nice setup. I'm sure there are other potentially better synergies for these two pilots that I haven't thought of yet, so please share any more ideas. Thanks! CBMarkham 2,441 Posted July 27, 2016 If you're running Deadeye (you probably shouldn't be), is there a reason you want K4 Droid over Recon Specialist? You're not using Unhinged astromech, so it seems like you get a free target lock from 6 moves on your dial, where as the Recon Specialist would give you what you need to launch a Torp and still give you a focus token for offense or defense. ficklegreendice 34,362 Posted July 27, 2016 (edited) Dengaroo probably still hits harder speaking of, Manaroo would probably give you far more flexibility and lee-way when it comes to dumping APTs on people. You need TL + focus to make APTs worth it (assuming they can ever be worth it at 6 points), which PTL won't give you if you have to boost/roll into range Manaroo could make up the deficiency AND block people so they have no mods for your 6 dice and then, with minimalist Manaroo (just adaptability, int agent; feedback) you could bring Ol' Terry as a backup ace and to help counteract Torp Scouts and Dengaroo, which poor bumpmaster Manaroo can't do much against and with two Fangs, it's more likely you'll have someone to toss Manny's mods to if Rau just ends up being in a good position to PTL full mods anyway Edited July 27, 2016 by ficklegreendice Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The Fenn Rau build would allow for a 6 dice + 1 torp shot, which should hit for at least something.
