An X-wing (ship) adjustment of a different flavor.

Inspired by how to recover value in the original X-wing:

 

Title: Special Modifications

X-Wing Only

 

Cost: 3

 

Your modification slot may hold any number of unlike modifications worth up to a total of 3 points at no cost.

 

 

The main thrust here is that combinations like

 

A) Guidance Chips, Munitions Failsafe & Vectored Thrusters

    or

B) Integrated Astromech and Stealth Device

 

could now make the X-Wing much more reliable. This does not make the X-wing cheaper but the X-Wing could become really versatile and shine as a customizable (read: unpredictable) ship.

 

The idea is to allow the X-wing to leverage combinations that other ships cannot by giving some flexibility to the Modification slot, at the opportunity cost of the Title Slot.

You're making an already slightly overcosted ship able to be even more costly. Not quite the fix I'm sure people are looking for.

This. Unless you mean to pay 3 for this card, then make all the others free. In which case an R2 Astromech + Hull Upgrade + Integrated Astromech on a Rookie for a 25-point ship doesn't sound completely terrible (though you've more or less just made it a T-70 with R2 and Integrated; one extra health over T-rolls and Boost...).

I guess I did not state that very well did I.

 

Yes, the intention is that you pay for the Special Modifications title and the cost of the modifications then placed on it is zero, though the total capacity of the those modification is limited to 3 points.

May eqjuip any number of mods totalling 3 points

0 point

Reducse cost of astro and torp by 1 (min 0) maybe reduce torp by 2.
