RogueCommander 236 Posted July 16, 2016 Hey guys, would love feedback on this one. It's a variation on a theme around Rieekan, who I haven't used that much. Right now, 8 deployments, 5 activations with at least 3 substantive threats with a nice net of interceptors. I am thinking about focusing on going second with this one, in fact, I've got some maneuvering shenanigans that can mitigate the first player advantage, a bit. As I see it, it's flexible and if any two of the three threat elements can focus down something, it should pop. I've rarely play Opening Salvo, by with this fleet, adding two black dice added to every first shot looks nice. Thought about Most Wanted, as well. I like the idea of making a cheap ship the objective and winning out in the end by killing a much fatter target. Hyperspace Assault just makes the most sense. My thinking in Dangerous Territory is that, I care less about the point, than I do making sure nothing gets in the way of maneuvering my way into all of my opponents weak flanks. Anyway, feedback and consideration always welcome. Ginkapo 9,321 Posted July 16, 2016 Why Rieekan? Why not Dodonna and a hefty bid
RogueCommander 236 Posted July 16, 2016 (edited) Why Rieekan? Why not Dodonna and a hefty bid It's a variation, one that is more aggressive in its playstyle. I don't normally play Rieekan and wanted to see what he could do. The original was actually with Dodonna and a hefty bid. Great minds : ) Edited July 16, 2016 by RogueCommander

Squads without aces, and the ships are kitted to be multi purpose. One knockout punch. Thats rieekan, no matter how hard they hit uou, you hit backharder. Vergilius 2,118 Posted July 16, 2016 I'd have to agree with Ginkapo. You definitely want a Rieekan list to hit hard. You also want to be able to trade up reliably. Your Dodonna list definitely feels like a Dodonna list, but you'd need to change out your variants a bit to make it a good Rieekan list.
