ianediger 1,345 Posted July 7, 2016 It's been laggy since everyone is downloading it and starting up. It should settle down after awhile.
Lyraeus 4,759 Posted July 7, 2016 Niantic is using the same service that they do for Ingress. I don't think they expected this level of players though.

Norell 1,198 Posted July 10, 2016 I love Pokemon. But Go consumes too much bandwith data, too much battery and it isn't satisfying in the end. Only Gen 1 Pokes and you can't really do anything with them...

Only Gen 1 Pokes and you can't really do anything with them...kinda what I decided Also it requires to much movement for my taste, if I'm going to waste time I'm going to COMPLETELY WASTE THAT TIME DAMMIT!! I ain't going to start all this "exercising" and going places...

Robin Graves 6,054 Posted July 11, 2016 I just caught a Staryu. But I'm in Kansas... I was gonna ask if you had to be near water (ocean, river, canal, pond, public toilet ) to catch aquatic pokemon?
Amanal 2,557 Posted July 11, 2016 I have banned my children from using it. I think it is only a matter of time before bad people figure out they can wait where the pokemon is and do bad things to young people.

Yeah, It's probably best to use it on familiy walks or on the kids route to school. Just because Ash went traipsing around the countryside on his own doesn't mean real kids should do that. 1 Flengin reacted to this

Sometimes. I found a staryu on land before, in a fountain (pops up their regularly), same with Horsee and such. Scyther loves wooded areas. For the most part they stick to their habits or similar areas 1 Robin Graves reacted to this
