kaosoe 7,573 Posted August 17, 2016 (edited) Maybe it allows the PC to survey the city from the highest point while their robes billow in the wind. Edited August 17, 2016 by kaosoe 3 Krieger22, Absol197 and Kaigen reacted to this
Comrade Cosmonaut 490 Posted August 17, 2016 Maybe it allows the PC to survey the city from the highest point while their robes billow in the wind. Do they then screech like a hawkbat and leap from said vantage point into a nearby speeder full of turugrass, act like its nothing, but know where all the Hopitalier flags are across Coruscant's Little Jerusalem district? 2 Ulric dOrien and Absol197 reacted to this

No, that would be a Bounty Hunter SigAbil. 1 Absol197 reacted to this
Krieger22 2,471 Posted August 18, 2016 If I had to guess I'd say that My City lets you blend in and become unnoticable, with upgrades giving you bonuses to things like Streetwise, Knowledge (Underworld) and maybe social checks against city locals? Unmatched Foresight, on the other hand, is probably a more mechanical SigAbilTM that affects initiative sequence in some way, and with upgrades that gives bonuses to Perception, Vigilance and other stuff. 1 Kael reacted to this
Jegergryte 1,978 Posted August 19, 2016 The name "My City" reminds me of Jack Hawksmoor aka God of Cities from the Authority...
Absol197 5,296 Posted August 25, 2016 Okay, we're On the Boat! To celebrate only ~two months left, what else can we dissect? We could hypothesize about Unmatched Foresight! Or maybe bandy about some guesses as to species. Or maybe what kind of mechanics will go into making a lightsaber "less noticeable." Come on, people! Where's my rampant, groundless speculation? Blackbird888 4,110 Posted August 25, 2016 Unmatched Foresight: allows you to avoid the gridlock on your way to work. But it doesn't allow you to avoid Grimlock on the way to work. It will allow you to play sarlaccs, in various stages of life, as well as versions from before and after the remasters. The upgrades make lightsabers so bright they blind all opposition. They won't see it coming. 2 Richardbuxton and Absol197 reacted to this
Shlambate 2,679 Posted August 25, 2016 What's your prediction on the release now? I remember you changed it from 10/13/16 to 10/26/16 or so.
kaosoe 7,573 Posted August 25, 2016 Whenever its release will be. This will be the first black book with my name in it. I need it!
Absol197 5,296 Posted August 25, 2016 If you had checked my thread, you would know already . But since you asked, it is tentatively 10/20, although it could still drift back to 10/27 if the boating takes longer than expected.
Kaigen 826 Posted August 25, 2016 Or maybe what kind of mechanics will go into making a lightsaber "less noticeable." Setback dice galore. Setback dice stretching out to the horizon in every direction. Drown the inquisitors who would hunt you in a sea of setback dice. Maybe a difficulty upgrade. 1 The Shy Ion reacted to this
Guest cimmerianthief Posted August 25, 2016 (edited) We're two-for-two on getting new lightsaber crystals in F+D career books. Will this book introduce more? If so, what might it/they be? Edited August 25, 2016 by cimmerianthief

Who knows (the persons writing chapter 2, duh). All 4 crystals introduced in the career books have been completely original to those books. 2 kaosoe and Richardbuxton reacted to this

The Shy Ion 502 Posted August 27, 2016 So, we'll be seeing it in October? That's not too bad. The MUSH game where I'm playing a Sentinel (with the Shadow spec, because I'm a shameless SWTOR player and now like the sneaky Force-users) is probably gonna start somewhere in the next month or so, so I probably won't be too far along by the time we get all these specs... Richardbuxton 7,319 Posted September 6, 2016 Random thought. The Artesan is quite good at building things and repairing vehicles. The pod racer is good at driving vehicles. Pod racing vehicles tend to be custom-made or at least that's what we see in the movies. Are we going to see the rules for making our own ground and airspeeders in Endless Vigil? 1 The Shy Ion reacted to this

Richardbuxton 7,319 Posted September 6, 2016 I could see this book having swoop bikes, land speeders and air speeders. Leaving walkers, heavy land speeders and star fighters for the AoR Engineer book. This way they dodge the problem of time it takes to build the really big Sil 5+ stuff, but still give PC's some cool vehicles to make for themselves. Of course the other possibility is a "Modular Air Speeder" and "Modular Land Speeder" but that's far less interesting 1 S1leNt RIP reacted to this
