Omnislash024 169 Posted July 5, 2016 (edited) Starting the tutorial of Rise of the Goblins. We have Krutzbecht as Skirmisher, Jonas the Kind as Disciple, Roganna the Shade as Wildlander and Jaes the Exile as Runemaster. If you played this quest, you know what happens to the first hero who explores the way down. That happened to be Krutzy. After Jonas kindly rezzed the Dwarf, the door was opened and here came the hordes of Zombies. Roganna ran over next to the pile of bodies but both her stats said she was the wrong person to try to attempt testing it. So Krutz ended up going over there and taking care of it. But after the zombies fell dead, the next wave in the form of barghests came. Krutzbeck could not pass any willpower tests worth anything and with the Barghest Howls doing 2 heart per yelp, the consistent yelping put Krutzbeck to sleep. Roganna was able to use her ability to do damage to the master dog though, which put him out of commission. The heroes then fought back as they herded the pack down to one mangy mutt. It was then that the stray took off running... apparently some cultists dropped in. Yay... Crow Hags. Just what I wanted to see. On top of that a huge Ettin the heroes had to kill. Our battered heroes made a stand as the Ettin lumbered forward. Although the party was pretty much battered, they hardly took any damage due to the fact the Ettin's attacks kept missing and the Hags were fairing no better. After weaning down the pesky bird women to one minion, the heroes pressed the attack on The Abomination. Damage here, damage there and finally Krutzbecht attacked twice, his last attack activating his Heroic Feat, which pretty much sealed the win for the Heroes. Dang... this is only the tutorial mission. Better step up the game real quick. Edited July 5, 2016 by Omnislash024
tatsu 2 Posted July 5, 2016 My experience was similar, except I got Flesh Moulders - they retreated back after the first round of attacks and then their flesh golem (ettin) crammed his way into the door and blocked everything off. Then it was just a matter of landing enough damage that the FM'ers wouldn't heal all the work done by the good guys

Michael Scorefan 8 Posted July 7, 2016 Passed test on an object. This happened. So when this happened, did you place all of the figures because the app told you to place them all? I thought that with kobolds you are supposed to place the masters at set up and then place the minions on the board over time. Something like one figure per activation of each master. Otherwise, the swarm ability is incredibly devastating to the poor heroes.
Tintaglia 124 Posted July 7, 2016 When not at the set up you place the entire group.
kraisto 273 Posted July 7, 2016 If some affect cause the spawn (like a trap), they appear as an entire group. See the monster info. Yes, its pretty scare and a lot of fun to see a group of "fearless" heroes running from a kobold raid
Omnislash024 169 Posted July 10, 2016 Yep. Told me to do it.
