Mad Cat 2,250 Posted July 5, 2016 Ackbar and 13 of them all with Boosted Comms. Zero initiative bid. I must remember to include Advanced gunnery for the red mission.... Even worse better
ianediger 1,347 Posted July 5, 2016 Sorry to pop the Ackbar bubble here, but since the GR75's have no side dice, they can't get Ackbar's bonus, as he adds after you generate your attack pool. Since the attack pool of a side-arc GR75 (either of them) is zero dice, the attack is cancelled before ole' fish-face can give out his bonus. 3 Ollie124, DR4CO and Formynder4 reacted to this
ImpStarDeuces 526 Posted July 5, 2016 It's only the greatest idea ever if you show up to World's with it, end up at a live streamed table, and you're drunk. 4 ianediger, Green Knight, Formynder4 and 1 other reacted to this

ImpStarDeuces 526 Posted July 5, 2016 And your opponent is running Cracken! Up the anti and keep everything at speed zero, put your feet up, and drink from a non descript bottle. If you switch the combat refit to medium transports you could fit in 20 of them. 1 clontroper5 reacted to this

Does the ship have to have red dice to add them? Or would it only get the extra dice at range 2?
Drasnighta 26,833 Posted July 5, 2016 The Combat Refit has one blue to the front and rear. It still has no dice to the Side. The rules state that, when you gather your die pool, you roll your initial battery armament.... Once that has been rolled, then you add things like Admiral Ackbar. However, if you Die pool is ever at 0... Your attack is cancelled. So, Gr75s, Combat or Not, when they are in the Side Arc, pick up and roll 0 dice in their initial armament... And cancel the attack. Before Ackbar has a chance........ Now, if they had an Ion Cannon or Turbolaser slot, you could fix this. But unfortunately, they do not. 1 ianediger reacted to this

I thought you intended to make the most trolliest list ever which I whole heartedly approve. 2 buddyfett and Akhrin reacted to this
Tokra 2,147 Posted July 5, 2016 But what could work is Screed with 13 Gozanti Assault Carrier. For 13 guaranteed crits. Unless the line of sight is obstructed. But who is playing Cracken.... 1 ImpStarDeuces reacted to this

Jondavies72 575 Posted July 9, 2016 (edited) 20 transports and doddona, literally the only completely useless legal 400 Piont list in the game.Close, but not quite: you can still kill squadrons! Only if the other guy could be bothered to use his fighters against this list. Personally I think the most deadly thing about this list is:1) your wife beating you to death for spending £300+in one go on Plastic models 2) your opponent choking to death on their sandwich after gasping in amazement at your list...... You could even time the unvailing of your list until he/she started eating....but some would consider that a bit unsporting and going to far....... There is also the slight possibility that after two rounds of you activating 20 ships either the time runs out or your opponent gets soooooo bored they offer a draw. You could also probably go for a draw by slowly playing with your bellybutton, maintaining eye contact (with or without pants/ your choice) until your opponent is disturbed enough to offer the draw. Do that and bring 20 transports at Worlds is pretty much the recipe for becoming a legend.
