Flotillas

Recommended Posts

Does the fleet with the ship in it that is rowing across the Pacific with the Flotillas have enough points left to add Engine Techs to the **** ship or what? How do some shipments from China take 2-4 weeks but FFG shipments always seem to take 2 **** months!!

FFG, i implore you, invest in a shipping company that has evolved past sail power and oars to get us our precious Prack!

They circumvented North America and landed in Europe.

I'm serious.

The Swedish(?) Distributor stated that they had copies, but had to wait until a Release date was announced to actually distribute them....

So they could be here, anyway, and just under a code of silence.

They aren't in Canada. Secretively or not. Trust me, I have very very good sources.

Well you are over on that side of the Country...

Here in the West, we've just got Golf-Ball sized Hail.  :D

I I've in America. Not the world. So it doesn't matter. Let me have my flotillas.

Lmao. Ok horrible sarcasm. And bad joke. But I agree with op on this one. If the IA stuff was shipping sooner. Or the armada stuff wasn't ready. Then please. Please give realistic shilping/boat/in the stores times.

Good thing I play all three. Well. Good for everything but my wallet. Lol

I do, I DO need a hug. Or a prack fix. yeah, prack fix would be better.

Last weekend I won a tourney and on top of the spring kit stuff there was a free Raider. I gave that raider to one of the other players because he was new and just building his collection (and I already have 5, so) but now I feel like a drug addict that gave away a free hit.

I could be painting that base and punching that cardboard and putting raider #6 neatly on the shelf with the other ones, that would still the shakes for a little while.

Maybe the things that arrived earlier came from a different starting point?

I have it from a pretty good source that Wave 3 won't be here in Canada until September.

2 Months "on the boat" now. pretty sure no commercial freight from China to the US takes 2 months. Other stuff I've bought (for e.g. some kickstarter things) that provide GPS tracking info for the boats bringing your stuff over from there the max transit time I've seen is like 3 or 4 weeks. So the FFG timings are basically BS lol.

So, you mean that Flotillas won't be available at all in August even?

And that Wave 4's release of September is Wave 3s?

Not doubting, just trying to clarify that there wasn't a mistype there...l

Well, the person I spoke to who will remain anonymous said that they wouldn't be available until September BUT there is a small chance he misunderstood and was referring to wave 4. There is an 90% certainty that they won't be here for July and the 10% chance would be in the last week of July.

A few things:

All sarcasm aside, when you hear "on the boat" it's a reference to the entire process of moving finished products from the factory to a port, from that port to another port, from that port to a distributor, and once all product is verified ready for distribution it is then at the distributor who will have to be given the all clear to start sending it to retailers.

Steps included but not mentioned above:

-Customs inspection at multiple points in several countries

-Paying the shipping company and the distributor for their work

-Inspecting all products to ensure any losses due to accidents, theft etc are accounted for

-Transporting product from the dock on arrival to the distributor

-Possibly multiple shipments on several boats for a large release, necessitating repeats of the first several steps until are product is available

-Confirming all product is ready to be sold at retail between multiple companies (distributor, FFG, Disney, other rights holders as necessary)

-Repeating first several steps as necessary to get green light from previous step

-"Shipping to stores"

exactly, Cactusman you have 2 stages combined there.

I recognize that "On the boat" describes the transit of product and all attached activities from Manufacturer to FFG warehouse. There is also the probability that they wait on multiple, staggered shipments to build sufficient stock to fairly distribute all pre-orders to US stores and Canadian Distributor LR.

Even considering all of that, FFG has a history of taking way longer than industry average at this stage.

I reserve the right to get irritable about my Prack.
