Zuckuss Crew who can choose the dices

Hi,

 

Simple question, who can choose the dices that must be rerolled by the Zuckuss crew.

 

Is it the Attacker or is it the Defender that can choose?

 

Example:

So the attacker had rolled his attack dices. I roll my defense dices he says well I take 3 stress so reroll 3 dices and then he is chose my dices.

 

Or is it like this, the attacker had rolled his attack dices. I roll my defense dices he says well I take 3 stress so reroll 3 dices and then I choose the dices I want to reroll.

This is written on the card: "to choose an equal number of defense dice."

In the Modify Defense dice step, the attacker (with Zuckuss) takes the stress to allow him to choose specific dice. The defender must then reroll those chosen dice.

The defender is then free to modify those dice again if he can, but cannot reroll them a second time.
