TryerImp 44 Posted June 21, 2016 Am I right in assuming that if 'Cut Lines' is played at the start of a round Then has a figure play 'Strategic Shift' to get his opponent put his hand into the deck, He can NOT then draw the 2 cards as per the card, due to the 'Cut Lines' being in force. DTDanix 838 Posted June 22, 2016 Cut Lines is played at the start of the Status Phase. So there's no way you could play Strategic Shift after that. 1 a1bert reacted to this
TryerImp 44 Posted June 22, 2016 Why not? Cut lines doesn't stop you from playing cards just drawing them.
kaizerjd 10 Posted June 22, 2016 The status phase is the last phase of a round. Unless you have something that lets you perform actions outside of your activation, during the status phase similar to Jundland Terror, but for a spy, you won't be able to play strategic shift. TryerImp 44 Posted June 22, 2016 Got it. Was thinking there was also a status phase at start of the round as well. Doh. That is fine. Please ignore all of the above.
