Anything that is spoiled now, or before the commencement of round 1, can be used for your first fleet. Anything spoiled after the commencement of round 1 can be used for round 3, etc. :)

This clears up a possible confusion for me. Your Round 1 and 2 state that we have to have standard tournament legal lists which means to me wave 2 and before only.

No. Any card spoiled up until this point: i.e. wave 3 + that reb admiral and the vet gunners.

For round 3+4 there could be even more cards spoiled.

does this include the Interdictor since we have a point cost and can reasonably infer the rest of the upgrade slots?

Please *puppy eyes* (trust me I have the CUTEST puppy eyes... They are augmented by the dark side to be more sympathy producing)

One version which we don't have the weapon stats for, defense tokens, or speed chart is 5 points more than the VSD 2. That's l we know.

Must... resist... puppy-dog-eyes... *rolls 19 and saves... just!*

 

Inference isn't enough to play the Interdictor, I'm afraid - whole card spoilage or not at all (same goes for the new MC80). ;)

just learning vassal and shaky schedule thru summer so not ready to jump into this, but hope we post matchups here to spectate :)

 

Match-ups will be posted for sure. If there's one thing we Armada players love, it's an audience. ;)

 

Daht raises a good point, tho' - ALL are welcome in this tournament, regardless of experience in Armada or on Vassal.

 

Plenty of players have gotten their first taste of the game in these online tournaments. If you've ever thought about joining in but have worried that your lack of Vassal experience might go against you, fear not: Armada players are among the most patient on the internet (heh, we have to be). So join in the fun! :D

 

 

My self-imposed restriction is more about my schedule to play through an online game during the summer months, partly due to not being quick on the draw with vassal setup and play, not that I don't feel comfortable playing with folks or backlash... I "cheat" like mad with vassal currently by using half real tabletop items to avoid setting up the tabletop and such  :)   Will be looking to play off and on in fun games, and perhaps next big tourney...

You know what...scrap all that. This sounds too interesting to sit out from, and I'm sure I can squeeze in some practice games.

 

I think a defect back to the Rebellion may be on the cards for me.

Speaking of practice games, where have you been!?

 

 

Oh you know... chilling in the Coruscant bars with a few twi'lek females...generally having a very relaxing time.

 

:P

 

I've basically been snowed under by work, and I just have been too tired do to any games on vassal or irl.

I couldn't wake up early enough to do any early morning games, but it looks like I'm over the worst, and I should have time again for more vassal games soon.
