Any SWC folks around?

So back in the day, before we had flashy "MMO's", there was an online community dedicated to Star Wars roleplaying called Star Wars Club, or SWC. Someone in the username origin thread mentioned an old online group he used to belong to, and it got me thinking  - are there any old-timers from the original SWC still around? We're talking twenty years ago, but there're a bunch of us old farts on here, so I thought it was worth a shot.

 

So, any old school SWC folks lurking on the Armada forums?

Nope...but I'm old enough that I purchased the WEG Star Wars d6 RPG when it was published. Played it to death. And the 2nd Edition. And the Revised/Expanded Edition. Still have about a meter or so of the stuff in my basement.

Ah, good ol' WEG. I learned the other day that the particular D6 system used was apparently developed for a Ghostbusters RPG?

 

Also, I learned from experience, never let a character be shot by a starship-class weapon. . .the dice multiplier was insane.
