HerrUther 0 Posted June 3, 2016 Hi all, So I've been reading through some of the scenarios so I'm prepared for battle and I've noticed the following rule crop up and it has me a little confused. In IA Core: Missions Desperate Hour & Last Stand; RTH: Mission Home Front it says the following (para phrased) instead of activating normally Weiss/Vader/Jann performs one action after each Rebel activation. Does this mean that only those figures get to take any actions at that point, are the other Imps no longer activating? Sorry for the stupid question, like I said I'm just a tad confused by the wording.
Spidey NZ 761 Posted June 4, 2016 Because they are like bosses in a video game, they get a special rule. i think they will interrupt and perform an action after a heroes activation. then it still continues to the imperial activation. -the rebels activation, then the boss, then the imperial, then the rebel etc.

HerrUther 0 Posted June 4, 2016 Sorry again, one more question… Imp actions I know they can't shoot twice, unless it states so, but can you move twice??
a1bert 4,027 Posted June 4, 2016 (edited) Yes. Non-heroes can move twice, interact twice, use two different special actions (but each special action can only be used once per activation, which also applies to heroes). The only thing non-heroes cannot do is to spend more than one action to perform attacks. Note that this applies to special actions as well as normal actions. Also note that attacks received from abilities that are not actions do not count towards the attack action limit. (Such as Executive Order or Sustained Fire class cards or Fire At Will agenda card) Also note that not all actions that cause damage are attacks. (For example the Force Choke action.) The action needs to include the word attack for it to be attack (and otherwise follow the steps of an attack). Also note that Move action allows to perform a move, which gives the figure movevement points according to its Speed and finishes immediately. The Move action or receiving movement points do not move the figure. Spending movement points moves the figure. Edited June 4, 2016 by a1bert
HerrUther 0 Posted June 4, 2016 (edited) So just as a for instance: the Royal Guard Champion can attack with brutality, then attack normally if the requirements of 'Executioner' are met and attack again normally if told to do so by an eImperial Officers 'Executive Order'? a1bert 4,027 Posted June 4, 2016 (edited) There is no limit in the number of attacks that can be performed during an activation, there is a limit on the number of actions spent for attacks. Additional attacks can be performed from abilities that are not actions. RGC can spend an action to perform Brutality. Because it contains an attack (two, in fact), RGC cannot spend another action during the same activation to perform an attack. However, Executioner is not an action, and receiving an attack from another source is also not an action, so they do not count towards the attack action limit. (Also, both happen outside of the RGC's activation, so they would not count in any case.) (Note the difference between Attack action - which allows to perform an attack, and just performing an attack.)
