Yeah I decided not to go that route for the sake of keeping my Gm happy.

I thought sarlac sweep and saber swarm were actions individually but I would not alow them to be used at the same time. Or maybe multiply the strain Vs targets and watch the guy fall from strain threshold. Although the talent does say the person must make an agility-lightsaber check.

Saber Swarm is a maneuver which works on your next lightsaber (agility) check, so yeah, it even should work on stuff like saber throw,  hawk bat swoop, etc

Though I would not be surprised if in a later edition Sarlacc Sweep becomes an lightsaber(brawn) check. Personally I like the idea to combine forms for even more effective attacks, but the other forms all have their special moves bound to their special characteristic.

True but the player has to choose a lightsaber characteristic and if they choose to be a warrior first then they can't use saber swarm unless rules state you can use either characteristic or level up lightsaber skill again under agility.

They would just need Ataru Technique which lets them use agilty to use sabre swarm.

 

They could go back to brawn (or anyother stat they have tech for) afterwards.

Keyword with all Lightsaber Form Talents is "may use", making it optional, which is very important because there are plenty of form specific techniques likes Hawk Bat Swoop (agi), saber swarm (agi), disruptive strike and counterstrike (cun), makashi finish and flourish (presence). defensive circle and strategic form (int), etc which all rely on a lightsaber check with a specific attribute. And saber swarm itself only works on your next lightsaber (agi) check. So to use this you absolutely need the Ataru technique talent AND the check must work with lightsaber check must work with agility. No combining of the saber swarm with disruptive strike.
