Knight level PbP game.

I would like to join your game, please consider Ping, a Besalisk Aturu Striker: http://swsheets.com/c/gbca20uas-ping--spaz-----

I have the books needed (actually all of them), have experience as both GM and player, and will be able to post regularly.

The sheet is nearly complete, just need to calculate encumbrance, credit use.

And then there were eight. You're in.

My name over at rolplayinggames.net is dtdunn. I will be using 5 morality for xp, 5 for 1000 credits, taking a lightsaber. I still need to put in all the talents but this xp expenditure is detailed in the assets section. Let me know if you have any questions/concerns.

doesnt morality give you the the options of 10xp, 5xp/1000credits, 2500credits, 71 morality (lightside) or 29 morality (darkside)? you cant take on more morality like obligation correct? at 5 morality for 5 xp you could get an extra 30 xp to go "dark side", so what would be the point of choosing 29 morality as an option?

i like the idea of obligation and morality in one system but its makes creating characters confusing.

Yep. Morality is either a boost to 71, a boost to 29, or starting at 50 to get either +10xp, or +5xp with 1,000 credits, or 2,500 credits.

Since my copy of Savage Spirits should arrive this week would it be possible for me to make adjustments based on the info in there? The Executioner may be a better fit than the Big Game Hunter and with the knowledge that there are three hunting rifles in the book I might be able to get a long range rifle that won't severely tax my characters Encumbrance rating.

Okay, I have finalized Ping, the Besalisk Ataru Striker. After he escaped his life-long slavery (from some time after birth to 18 years of age), he continued his training with the broken holocron in secret (in game terms it is just a narrative way to get him the Ataru Striker knowledge), but worked as a weapons expert/weapons trainer/body guard/gunner while moving from system to system (this would be the reason that he is a gadgeteer). Recently he has 'come across' a lightsaber and now he can begin his training in earnest.

I purchased a Double sided hilt with his starting funds and he is ready to go.

This is the SW Sheets link

And here is a PDF version

His role will be mainly as a Engaged-range fighter, with good soak/wound threshold. Will use force leap to move around (when the force dice allow), and will have back-up ranged weapons skills.

I am also looking forward to Savage Spirits for a specialty to get him another force rating that will match him well, although Hunter is close.

Sure.
