TryerImp 44 Posted May 13, 2016 Every time I try to upload an image it just puts the link there. If I click on image button and do the same it errors with unsupported file extension How do you upload images into posts??
Rogue Dakotan 5,127 Posted May 13, 2016 in the editor click the little image button. Looks like a polaroid or something. sort of below the simely. Find the image you want to upload, right click it, copy the image address/URL or whatever your browser calls it. past that into the box in this editor that opened when you clicked the image button. click ok. if it says the file type isn't supported here, click on the image, cilck the button again to open up the URL you pasted, and backspace on the URL until you get rid of all the text after the file type (.png, .jpg etc). Sometimes images from Wookieepedia have extra crap thrown in after the filetype which can throw off the forum here.

Rogue Dakotan 5,127 Posted May 13, 2016 Hmm. Those aren't showing up for me, (though if I paste the image address into my browser I see them.) Nice painting! you could try uploading them to Imgur.com. Pretty sure that would work best.

a1bert 4,027 Posted May 13, 2016 (edited) I have done the image attaching once, but now I could not find the attachment menu. You may need to 1) make a post. 2) Modify the post, 3) start the "Full Editor" and you will get the Attachment options at the bottom. Let's see with this post. Edit 1: Nope. Does not work in this post.. Edit 2: Attachments may be restricted to the subforums, my picture was in the Nexu Pounce thread. Edit 3: Yes, it seems attachments are allowed in the Rules SubForum, for example the thread I mentioned: https://community.fantasyflightgames.com/topic/219170-nexu-pounce-counting-spaces/ Edited May 13, 2016 by a1bert
