Rey PS8????

Don't get me wrong, I get that she's force sensitive but in the movie she would barely qualify as PS2.

Furthermore, Chewie is only a PS5 and he's been flying the falcon for how long??

I'm not one to complain about things, and this isn't a complaint. I'm a bit taken aback buy her PS8 placement.

Ultimately I believe her character will become a great pilot in the movies and this pilot card will be fun to play with & against. It seems contradictory to the movies.

The initial mistakes were the result of the falcon being in poor repair, not her flying ability. Combine the late part of the chase scene, her force sensitivity, and a secondary source indicating that she restored an old flight simulator, and PS 8 seems fine.

Chewie was more of a mechanic then an actual pilot. Much like a diesel mechanic can drive the truck from the parking lot into the workshop, but you wouldn't be sending him off to deliver a load lol. And as for her ps8,... that "flip over/belly shot" says it all XD

Chewie is more of a Co Pilot, He can get you from A-Z but not in Style. Lando is much better, Niem Numb is a better Pilot then Chewie.

 

Ray is a beast of a Pilot and for the First Time Flying the Falcon she did amazing. 8 is where she belongs. Just wait until Ep 8 when she is flying it sideways while she is sleeping.

 

 

PS Hate the Prequels but look what Ann-ie did with the Force, and how he as a first time pilot at such a young age did. No one questions it because he became Darth Vader but He was still an excellent pilot.

She was also struggling to overcome the lack of a co-pilot, but as the chase went on she clearly improved. That culminated in the flip-over to give Finn a clear shot, in atmosphere. That manoeuvre sold her on being at least Han-good for me.

Remember, R2-D2 is the actual pilot during most of lil anni's first flights. He became an excellent pilot because he's force-sensitive AND had R2-D2 as a flight instructor.

All of these pilots are somewhat gifted in the Force.  The only real exceptions to this list are Kyle Katarn (PS6) and Kanan (PS5) and Ezra (PS4).  Kyle didn't really being training in the force until well after his days pal'in around with Jan Ors and stealing Death Star plans aboard the Crow.  Kanan and Ezra are hardly jedi, are very young, and have not had much time or experience flying.  Rey might fit the later part, but clearly she's "chosen one" levels of force sensitive.  Vader is a PS9 because a big of part of his identity is being "the best pilot in the galaxy" and he spent his youth Pod Racing.


PS9 seems reserved for dedicated incredible pilots with a ton of flying experience and natural talent.

Tpm Ani showed no pilot skills at all (not counting pod racing) autopilot/r2 flew his ship and he got lucky pushing random buttons to blow things up, so shouldn't compare anything to him.

 

Luke got a lot of practice in t-16 skyhoppers which have the same controls as an x-wing, the death star attack wasn't his first time flying.

 

Rey out flies generic ps1 or 3 tie fighter pilots because she knows the terrain and star destroyer wrecks that she uses against them... how does that make her a super pilot?

6 or 7 would have been high enough.

 

Just being strong with the force doesn't automatically make a great pilot Kanan is ps5 and Kyle Katarn ps6.

Managed to do all the prequel stuff while ignoring the stuff Ani was telling him to do; managed to get Luke safely into the trench run despite Luke doing stupid things like turning off vital systems and knowing the best human pilot in the galaxy (well force cyborg kinda human) was on the hunt.

My list is regarding the FFG Pilot card versions of characters.  Despite your fanboy dreams, R2D2 does not have a pilot card.

PS: If astromechs were that autonomous and had the ability to exert that much control during dogfights, why even bother with human pilots?  Just get twelve R2D2s, put them in their own X-Wings, and bam you've got a superior Rogue Squadron.  But, obviously, astromechs have minimal autonomy as pilots with severely limited capabilities.  They are nice buffs and assistants to actual pilots, but they are not pilots.

We do see Chopper as a pilot, but that's presumably because he has arms and manipulates the controls like a humanoid pilot would (and also because Rebels is a silly children's cartoon).  But he can't just socket his little USB dongle into an astromech port and fly the thing.

Yes, but TIE/D (D is for droid) haven't been added to the game yet.
