The problem will be the Dothraki fighting in the snow/winter. Like what the hell are they even gonna do. 

 

Bran has some purpose to serve, but after that episode I began to think if he isnt the way to get the others through the wall. Then, not sure what he really does besides warg a dragon. But I don't really like that as its too obvious for GRRM. 

 

The Dothraki are awesome light cavalry.  How do you counteract zombie infantry?  Light cav can be as fast as infantry that never sleeps when needing to get to places.  Also, they could probably rip through a horde of zombies.  

 

Yea, I can see that as well but I hope it isnt true. I hope that Bran realizes he can't mess around with time anymore. Mostly because I want 3ER to be BR because he is an interesting character, but also because it kind of cheapens everything. 

 

What point does Bran have?  Get through the wall?  Not look through time?  First off...why go through the wall?  It's been built to keep them out and why give up that defensive position?  I'm betting that's where the climactic battles happen.  

 

Next....Bran is a Green Seer.  What do they do?  They look into the future, past and present.  They know things.  They help out with information and help heroes make smart choices.  Of course he is going to travel through time.  It's just that he can't spend all his time in the past.  That was the danger.  Don't lose yourself just watching the past.  Bran is going to tell people what is going on at different places in real time.  He's also going to be able to tell what's the back ground with everything that we don't know.  He'll probably be the one to tell us who Jon's parents are.  Bran will also probably figure out the weak point in the Others' so that Danny can finally defeat them.  

 

Any bets on Coldhands actually putting Bran in the cave JUST so that the Others could get in when he F'd up? Maybe Coldhands is a bad guy.

They are definitely awesome, I am more thinking of what does light cavalry do in the dead of winter with a couple feet of snow on the ground. Especially Light cavalry that is dressed and used to essentially a savanna climate.

 

 I am not worried about him traveling through time to learn. I was more speaking of him messing with time like with Hodor in this episode.

 

He and Meera might travel through the wall for safety. It will depend on if he knows the full implications of the mark on his arm/ what the hell that mark even means. I think thats the main reason to put it there other than to have him move on without training completion. The Others do need a way through the wall and this is a pretty convenient plot point for that end. 

 

Benjen is def not Coldhands but he is up there somewhere. As for who CH actually is? could be any number of black brothers that we have heard about. 

 

I do think thats Benjen saving them though in the trailer.

yeah the CH turnaround didnt exactly surprise me.

 

The show has a habit of roling several characters into one (mormont/connington for example) and while in the books you might be right that Martins statement and notes to his editor said 'is BS CS?...  NO' might still be true of the book.

So given the new KL political situation... If Cersei loses her trial by combat(CLEGANEBOWL!) then the gods will have proven Tommen to be no relation to Robert Baratheon, yes? And I think if that happens, then the faith will take over the crown.

The future political situation of Cersei and Dany shifted enormously this weekend in the books and movie, IMO. That new Euron chapter changes Dany's future just as much.

What were her crimes that she admitted to?  It wasn't that she slept with her brother.  It was that she slept with Lancel and a few others.  Maybe murdered someone.  It wasn't about King Robert.  As for the High Sparrow...he's not going to knock down his pawn on the throne.
