2016 Regionals Results

I notice Dallas's list for San Diego is still missing from the first page. He was running the same thing Ron ran in Fresno:

Contracted Scout + Deadeye + R4 Agromech + Extra Munitions + Proton Torpedoes + Guidance Chips + Boba Fett;

Contracted Scout + Deadeye + Overclocked R4 + Extra Munitions + Plasma Torpedoes + Guidance Chips + 4-Lom;

Contracted Scout + Deadeye + Guidance Chips + Extra Munitions + Plasma Torpedoes + Overclocked R4

FYI.

Thanks! I just pulled I some updates that were sent courtesy of Mynock Squadron Radio - Dee didn't have Dallas's exact list, thanks!

I should probably make my own topic (if you want MajorJuggler I can) but I've updated the spreadsheet in a major way (link here).

I've added US and European breakdowns of their Top Cuts and winners based on the data here. Imperials dominate the United States while in Europe the Scum are running wild. I don't know where to put places like Australia and Iceland (might add Iceland to Europe). I realized I forgot Canada and will make them their own tab. South America will also get their own tab. I'd love some feedback.

I have a similar google sheet going, with some additional details, but I haven't published it yet. I like the idea of adding a location marker. Ideally this would all be in List Juggler and then we could give sozin feedback on how to best display the data.

So, did the #1 seed after Swiss drop?

#1 seed after Swiss was one of the guys with an incorrect list and got DQ'd. Only came up after a list check discovered it when we came back on the second day for the Top 8.

Interesting use of a Bumpmaster and 3 Syndicate Thug TLTs.  I thought that Triple Scouts drove TLT Y-Wings into extinction, but apparently they are just in hibernation.

Salt Lake is in to top 8 now.

Don't know the lists for sure, but attended the event and went 4-2 (lost last two rounds. Typical :P )

Some lists that I know made the top 8 but don't know full list details-

Asa (From Back to Dials) running Yorr, Vader, Inquisitor

Paul Davis running 2 VCX-100s with a Green squadron A-wing with Adrenaline Rush and Crack shot

Justin Chavez running Brobots (know they had Feedback array)

Eric G(?) Running Chewie with Lando, title, C3P0, PTL and 2 TLT Golds.

My two loses were to Eric and Asa. Eric's list was a tough match up against my Primarily PS 4 Rebel Salad list (Roark w/ TLT and tactician, Dagger, Tala x2, and Rookie w/ R4D6 and IA), and when I couldn't take down his Ys fast enough, he chomped me with Chewie easy.

Asa just out flew me and I think I was also just kind of done at that point anyways haha. I'm not sure if Asa stayed for top 8 though. He may have left.

Running Wampa just 'cause and hoping for an effect? Cool.

I always thought it was the threat of the effect going off that made Wampa powerful on his own. It doesn't have to trigger all game if it messes with target priority.

Western Australian Regionals completed today. Only two Jumpmasters in total in Top 8, one in each of two lists.

After Swiss (from memory)

1. Vlad running Soontir with Title, PTL, Targeting Computer (yes, not Stealth), and Autos. Howlrunner with Crack Shot and three Black Crack.

2. Barry running Dengar, Title, Adaptability, Recon, R4. IGB, Crack, Glitterstim, Autos, FCS, HLC.

3. Jon running Inquisitor (not sure of upgrades), Soontir (regular 36 point build) and Palp shuttle.

4. Mark running Fat Dash with a Ghost loading Autoblaster to keep people away from Dash.

5. Liam running Chirenau with Adaptability, Palp and Rebel Captive. Whisper with VI, Adv Cloak, Agent Kallus, FCS

6. Matt running patrol Leader with Gunner, Vader, Engine and 4 Acadamy Ties

7. Rhys running Wes with Draw Their Fire, R2D2 and Integrated, Biggs with R4D6 and Integrated, Stress Bot Y (but with Ion Vannon Turret), A-Wing with Refit.

8. Ed running Tel Trevura with Deadeye, Torps, Extra Munitions, R4. 4Lom and a Grand Findsman both with Oulaw Tech and FCS.

my favourite list I faced was Rhys in 7th place after Swiss (4th Overall). Opponents have to target Biggs who will only ever take two damage maximum due to his and Wes's Astromechs. Stress bot does what it does and adds an Ion token. If that doesn't leave your ships without Actions then Wes will strip the Action when he shoots.

The final was between last years winner Vlad and Matt. Both running 4 Tie Fighters!! Near the end of the game it was two Ties each. Who would have predicted that? Vlad emerged the winner retaining his title by winning all his games (two modified wins in Swiss) over the two days.

Winner of Plano (Dallas) Regionals was Sable Gryphon.  List:

Last Winter's Night

Omega Leader + Juke + Comm Relay

Wampa

4x Black Squadron Pilot + Crack Shot

Top 2:

Howlrunner + Stealth Device + Crack Shot

Omega Squad Pilot + Crack Shot

4x Black Squadron Pilot + Crack Shot

I'll see if I can dig up more details, but that's good for now.

Other Top 4 were a triple u-boat list and Blount/Tala missile swarm (I assume...two remaining Talas had a Ghost down to one hull in the final minutes when my body gave up and demanded sleep, so I left).

Top 8 included:

Poe/Miranda/Stresshog

Ghost/Miranda (k was loaded with bombs and Sabine, with TLT)

Wedge/Biggs/Jan

Ghost/Dash

Top 16 included (memory is foggy):

At least 1 more TIE crack swarm

At least 2 more triple u-boat lists

Seems like a couple more Ghost lists

A couple more rebel 3-ship lists

As far as I can remember, I didn't see any Palpmobiles make the cut, but there was one Chirpy Whisper list, so maybe Palpatine was lurking there.
