IMO Anima has a lot in common with the ideas in BESM with added structure for a fantasy setting. However, Anima is much more complex and IMO lacks a lot of the elegance of BESM's design. shogunboy 0 Posted December 4, 2009 Well, BESM has it's own issues as Anima does. Then again, every game system has their own issues in many ways.
