cloudshaper2k 0 Posted March 25, 2016 So, I'm diving into a tournament tomorrow with about five games under my belt and very little idea what I'm doing. I've chosen to go with Rebels and currently own two core sets, Home One, a single MC30, a CR90 expansion, two Rebel fighter packs and the Rebel half of two Rogues and Villains. Here's what I cobbled together for a possible fleet: Commander: Mon Mothma Objectives: Intel Sweep, Most Wanted, Fire Lanes [Flagship] MC80 Command (106 pts) - Mon Mothma (30 pts) - Leading Shots (4pts) - Defiance (5 pts) MC30 Torpedo Frigate (63 pts) - Rapid Reload (8 pts) Neb-B Escort (57 pts) - Enhanced Armament (10 pts) CR90 B (39 pts) - SW-7 Ion Batteries (5 pts) Squadrons: A-Wing x4 (44 pts) YT-2400 (16 pts) X-Wing (13 pts) Knowing what I have, what can I do better in terms of ship choice and upgrades? Admiral Mon Mothma gives no bonus for the MC80 so maybe Reekan or Dodonna would be better. Ackbar is ok but Nebulons don't work well with him. MC80 to help out the fighters Boosted comms is nice and quite cheap. MC30 Ordnance experts allows you to reroll the black dice and is better and cheaper than rapid reload. APTs could be a nice addition too. Defensively the Admonition title is good at keeping this knife fighter alive. Nebulon ditch enhanced armament as they want to keep the enemy to the front. Either add Yavaris + Ray Antilles or add Salvation, TRCs/slaved turrets and maybe drop it to a support variant. CR90 - Good. Fighters. Nice, if you take Yavaris then it would be nice to add a few bombers to double tap against ships so maybe 3 X-Wings and 3-4 A-Wings.
