Drasnighta 26,833 Posted March 4, 2016 Well, only one copy of Independance is allowed for one...For Two, Turbolaser Reroute Circuits do nothing on the MC80, as you have no evade defense counter to use to power them... Otherwise, its okay - but you're really going to have to learn how to use those bombers... And you might be better off with Leading Shots instead of Overload Pulse - but its situational. The scenario I'm imagining is: First MC80 activates, launches squads Squads hit target, forcing it to spend defence tokens MC80 fires. Some defence tokens already spent, opponent knows OP is coming so spends the rest OP might flip one token Only thing I see it benefiting is if you've then got the second MC80 against the same target, but I think most opponents will already have flipped their defence tokens by then anyway regardless of OP. Since you're expecting to force your opponents to flip tokens using the squads anyway what about SW-7 instead? Since the tokens are flipped you can use your blue accuracy as hits instead, either forcing more damage through or making them burn tokens. Could also look at swapping out something to fit in Jan Ors. Run her with the X-Wings to hand out Brace, and they'll protect her with Escort. Then she can use Intel to make it harder for your opponent to lock down or screen your B-Wings. Objectives look alright, though I'm not sure about Opening Salvo. You've only got two ships to benefit from it, and could be running up against 5-6 ship lists that'll have a field day on that. You also risk giving up points to them if they even get a single damage through on your expensive MC80s. I'd look at Precision Strike (as you've got so many bombers) or Advanced Gunnery (the MC80 gets good use out of that). If you plan on using Advanced Gunnery there XI7s become a great choice of turbolaser on at least on MC80 as double-tapping an opponent with that after you've already hit them with bombers will force a lot of hull damage.
