SmurfWedge 192 Posted February 23, 2016 Hi chaps I've always wanted to field dual MC80's Think with the loadout they have the firepower needed to hurt Thoughts on the below list? Pretty much not going to Conga line but try and Slash as much as possible....basically straight up the middle at a slight angle and then engine techs to manoeuvre where needed Faction: Rebel Alliance Points: 397/400 Commander: Admiral Ackbar Assault Objective: Most Wanted Defense Objective: Contested Outpost Navigation Objective: Intel Sweep CR90 Corvette B (39 points)- Tantive IV ( 3 points)- SW 7 Ion Batteries ( 5 points) [ flagship ] MC80 Command Cruiser (106 points)- Admiral Ackbar ( 38 points)- Engine Techs ( 8 points)- Electronic Countermeasures ( 7 points)- XI7 Turbolasers ( 6 points)- Leading Shots ( 4 points) MC80 Command Cruiser (106 points)- Defiance ( 5 points)- Engine Techs ( 8 points)- Electronic Countermeasures ( 7 points)- XI7 Turbolasers ( 6 points)- Leading Shots ( 4 points) 2 X-Wing Squadrons ( 26 points)1 Wedge Antilles ( 19 points)
Englishpete 1,379 Posted February 23, 2016 It is a list I have looked at long and hard. One point I might suggest. Drop Wedge down to a normal x-wing, he's not getting you much and add Raymus Antilles to the CR-90. This will allow you to pass two tokens a turn, one to each MC-80. Ginkapo 9,321 Posted February 23, 2016 Raymus taintive is amazing in this list. Those engineering and nav tokens. Careful with Ackbar, you are going to want to shred fighters with the MC80's, and guess what, they hide in your front arcs. I would drop Wedge for Jan and her braces personally. Consider tractor beams.
Ginkapo 9,321 Posted February 23, 2016 (edited) Can just drop sw-7's for Raymus. What are you thinking sending Raymus into battle! Edited February 23, 2016 by Ginkapo

SmurfWedge 192 Posted February 23, 2016 Can just drop sw-7's for Raymus. What are you thinking sending Raymus into battle! Haha. I wasn't going to send him in but the SW7s just give the option of doing some damage if he needed to get involved.....youre probably right though. Drop the SW7s to add a few more points to use

SmurfWedge 192 Posted February 23, 2016 I like the Empire list too....but I'm mainly a Reb player. I do have 2 of each of the Empire ships though so could run the Imp list too. Love having big ships on the board

As far as I can tell this is how it works Reveal Command Dial - lets say engineering You don't spend the Dial yet as Raymus gives you a matching token for free without spending the dial Get Raymus engineering token to the corvette but before adding it you....
