Reikaan and stations

So was playing a game the other day and my buddys MC80 got demolished by my MC30s but as he was running Reeikan it did not get removed right away. Instead, when it was his turn he shot with it and then moved onto the station. 

 

Question is, does that MC80 "come back to life"?

Rieekan's rule states that when the ship would be "Destroyed", it is simply not counted as destroyed until the Status Phase.

When the Status Phase comes around it is still destroyed...  No matter how much healing you try to do in the meantime through any and all means.

Indeed, it is clarified there, as well as the rules changes to accommodate that as well...  IN the fact that, The game no longer ends Immediately when all ships are destroyed - it waits until the end of the current round (which is after the Status Phase).

Ah I see I missed that bit in the FAQ. That's actually the way we played it, and I can see why it needed the FAQ. A little too much wiggle room in the wording.
