Doom Hammer 22 Posted February 15, 2016 (edited) With the new Doom Video Game coming out in May, will FFG's be making a new version of the old board game which was similar to Descent 1st Edition but based on the 2nd Edition rules? Steve-O 473 Posted February 15, 2016 The reason FFG made Descent in the first place is because they lost the licensing rights to continue printing Doom. I don't remember exactly why iD pulled the plug on the relationship, but I'm thinking it's unlikely to be renewed. Not impossible, though, I suppose. allenkwest 58 Posted February 22, 2016 Jonny, I agree with you. I liked the game alot and how they handeled monster placement and difficulty levels. Despite Descent streaming the macanics, this will always remain in my collection. This was the second game I had ever painted with the first being Heroquest, the 3rd was Descent 1st ed.
