Group 1:

Seeing as we have the jump on these Acklay are we all making a run for it?

 

Don't we have to get to the Lambda to bring it to the dealer as part of the purchase?  If so, we have to get past these Acklay...punch the throttle, or giddyap, as the case may be.

Or am I not understanding this?

My thought is group one can call group two on the comm once we've looked over the HWK, let you know what the deal is and then decide what we want to do. But yeah, if we take the HWK and headhunters, we're going to need to get the Lambda to the shop.

You could run through them, but do you want to is the question, also the Ronto needs to make a fear check of 3 purple 1 Boost for having a rider.

I'll spend the advantage to pass a boost to myself for Khits Survival check to control Gup, it's her familiarity with the Ronto and Gups comfort with Khit coming into play.

Good job, you're gonna need it. The survival check to keep Gupgup from bucking you is 3 purple and 1 purple 2 red to get close to the Acklay.

Since I'm on, I'll go.  What speed are we going when ambushed, speed 2?  How far away are the Acklay?  If they're at Short range, I spend a maneuver to fly to Medium range, I draw my heavy blaster (Quick Draw) and shoot, spending Strain to Aim once.  Positive dice pool is YGGB, what's the negative?

Group 1.

I'm here so I will, we can all act before them. I'll take an action to bring Gup under control:

6 successes, 3 threat

Then I would like to use 1 maneuver to increase speed (how fast are we going), take a strain for a second maneuver and use it to perform the Bodyguard talent, suffering 1 more strain!

Once you decide the Threat I'll post the narrative. (Next turn I'm looking to move past the Acklay)

The negative dice pool is whatever your range difficulty is, (2 Purple for Medium) with a single upgrade to the difficulty due to adversary if using a Personal Scale weapon, if using a Planetary Scale weapon, the difficulty is based on Silhouette difference (the Acklay has a Silhouette of 2) with a single upgrade due to adversary.

Oh good grief, can't get much better (I'm assuming an Acklay is not Sil3, therefore no decrease in difficulty:

The shot does 9 damage.  I use the 3A to score a crit...a measly 08:

Congratulations, you hit it, it fails to do any damage (Soak 12, sorry man) but you slowed it down!

Lama checking out the ships

The ships are well built and fully modified without damaging the ships themselves, the cargo bay looks to be able to hold 35 encumbrance worth of gear but has extra space to hold 6 speeder bikes or 3 beasts.

WW-413 has an arc and fires fully automatically with his Auto-Blaster after taking the time to aim twice
