killakan 136 Posted April 4, 2016 I'll go, I'll take the heat off Naught, that is if you're OK with it.
Kaigen 825 Posted April 4, 2016 I'm just not sure what's happening yet. I know there's minion groups and a boss, but I don't know what they are. 1 Richardbuxton reacted to this
killakan 136 Posted April 4, 2016 Ahh, they seem to be human, but everyone make a perception check of 2 purple. Perception check: 2eA+2eD 1 success To me at least, they seem to be modified, a machine so thoroughly ingrained in an organic being it is difficult to tell when the machine stops and the organic begins, it is terrifying, anyone who passes must make a fear check of 3 dice as the horrible sight before you is brought to revelation. Fear Check: 3eA+3eD 1 success, 1 threat I stand my ground, but I am still shaken, taking a setback die to my first attack against them. (Appearance-Minions) (Apperence-Boss, pretend the non-gun arm holds a big shield.)
Kaigen 825 Posted April 4, 2016 (edited) Perception: 2eA+2eD 0 successes, 1 advantage Naught doesn't see well enough to clearly distinguish their features. Not sure if that precludes the need for a Fear test, but I'll make one anyway. Fear: 1eA+3eP+3eD 0 successes, 4 advantage Naught is shaken by the looming figure that appears near her (Setback), but stands firm, inspiring the others (Boost die for everyone else's Fear check). Are any of the broken columns or pieces of debris large enough to be considered Silhouette 2? Edited April 4, 2016 by Kaigen
sonovabith 936 Posted April 4, 2016 (edited) I'm going to use my free maneuver to get to short range with one of the minion groups. What are these things?: 2eA+1eP+2eD 1 success Looks like I get the same basic idea of what they are as Wale. Trying to be brave: 2eA+1eP+3eD 3 successes, 3 threat, 1 Triumph OK, that's a fun one to try and figure out. So I'm clearly not scared of them, but maybe so mesmerized I accidentally drop my blaster. With the Triumph I'll shout something I notice about them to Wale so he can upgrade his attack. Does that work?Edit: I didn't see the boost Kaigen passed before posting. I'll let someone else use mine, maybe seeing their comrades stand firm Khit and Lama are emboldened and less frightened? Richardbuxton 7,287 Posted April 4, 2016 Perception to identify cyborgs: 3eA+2eD 0 successes, 3 advantage Khit feels confident she just sees humanoids approaching, guns drawn, she prepares for the oncoming fight

Are any of the broken columns or pieces of debris large enough to be considered Silhouette 2? You didn't need the fear check but you can pass the boost die to the next guy's perception check, and yes, there are pillars of about silhouette 2, but they're all standing strong. Kaigen 825 Posted April 4, 2016 Okay, if I tried to Move one of those standing pillars, would it be like any other silhouette 2 object, or would there be some kind of penalty since they're standing strong?

Do you have the proper control upgrade which allows you to pull objects from secure mountings?

Kaigen 825 Posted April 5, 2016 Aim-Move Pillar Attack: 1eA+3eP+1eB+2eF+2eD+1eS 1 success, 3 advantage, 2 Dark Side Naught aims and attempts to lift one of the pillars, but holds back when she feels the roil of emotions within her. I then strain for a second maneuver and take cover.
sonovabith 936 Posted April 5, 2016 Looks like we've got another PC initiative slot before the boss acts. Who wants it? I'm happy to wait until after the boss acts to see where Larik's attack will be most advantageous.
SHADOWGUARD CHAMPION 499 Posted April 5, 2016 (edited) As I said in the IC thread when its Lama's turn to go, he'll throw one of his thermals. So that he can hopefully activate blast. (P.S. Killikan what range am I at from the boss? I was at short range from the last wave.) Edited April 5, 2016 by SHADOWGUARD CHAMPION
SHADOWGUARD CHAMPION 499 Posted April 5, 2016 What are those things? 3eA+2eD: 0 successes [3eA=S, S, A] [2eD=Th, F/F] The dust obscerues Lama's vison and he can only just make out where they are.

SHADOWGUARD CHAMPION 499 Posted April 6, 2016 Well that stinks, I'll go last then and got to medium range, (Free Manoeuvre + Action traded in. IIRC)

Richardbuxton 7,287 Posted April 6, 2016 (edited) Well if no one else is going then Khit is going to try her luck at Stun Grenade vs Minions Other than the single setback fro the environment any other dice to add to the pool, defence etc? Is Naught passing some boost or something with those advantage? Edited April 6, 2016 by Richardbuxton
Kaigen 825 Posted April 6, 2016 I could be wrong, but I don't think I can do anything with the results of that skill check, since I didn't end up activating the power.
Richardbuxton 7,287 Posted April 6, 2016 You can still use the advantage just as on a failed check, its like you created a detraction, or inadvertently alerted an ally to a potential opening, or even just inspired them!
sonovabith 936 Posted April 6, 2016 I'd say go for it. Khit is one of the strongest ranged characters we've got.
