Grizzwar 2 Posted January 28, 2016 I am new to the game and was wondering what the veterans here thought would be the absolute best Millennium Falcon build.
AceOf86 13 Posted January 28, 2016 Well it depends on what you're trying to run with it, and what pilot. You always want c-3p0 and the title. For chewie I use predator as an ept. For Han I like engine upgrade and push the limit. Gunner and Luke are good choices for the second crew slot of you have the points. 1 Karhedron reacted to this
Karhedron 1,865 Posted January 28, 2016 (edited) Yup, Chewie + Title + C-3PO + Predator is my goto choice. I do like Gunner and Luke but that starts seriously eating into points for support. Definitely viable if running Falcon + Ace. Maybe this would be a good one. Poe Dameron (31) PTL (3) R5-P9 (3) Shield Upgrade (4) Chewie (42) Falcon (1) Hull Upgrade (3) C-3PO (3) Predator (3) Luke (7) That is 100 points that hits pretty hard and will not die quickly. Grizzwar 2 Posted January 28, 2016 with Hans ability "When attacking, you may reroll all of your dice. If you choose to do so, you must reroll as many of your dice as possible".... why would i want gunner or Luke? (After you perform an attack that does not hit, you may immediately perform a primary weapon attack. You cannot perform another attack this round.)(After you perform an attack that does not hit, you may immediately perform a primary weapon attack. You may change 1 focus result to a hit result. You cannot perform another attack this round.) i played Han last night with gunner and never had to/got to use the gunner ability. Maybe im just missing something?? Roquefert 11 Posted January 28, 2016 I believe it goes something like this. You attack with PWT.. it does not go well.. Reroll dice with Han's ability.. Tokens used to "block" all attacks.. attack misses Use Gunner to make 2nd attack due to first attack missing.. Again bad roll.. Reroll dice with Han's ability.. 3 KaBooms.. Profit! 1 Karhedron reacted to this
Darth Chuck 532 Posted January 28, 2016 Chewie with Draw Their Fire, C-3PO, Lando, and Experimental Interface. Maybe not "the best" but it is a tough nut to crack and draws crits from the rest of the squad.
RayCidivist 270 Posted January 28, 2016 Han with Predator, Title, Engine Upgrade, C3PO and R2-D2 has been my favorite, though I have switched out R2 for Gunner. I'm not saying PTL is wrong for Han, but I have found that his white turns with boosts really make the difference in keeping him alive and out of arc. Predator is great for those times you roll two hits and a blank, and don't want to toss the whole batch out. Just be sure you aren't jousting swarms, and use his maneuverability to be unpredictable, and your turret to make folks pay for guessing wrong about where you will be. And, y'know, fly casual. CBMarkham 2,441 Posted January 29, 2016 I dunno about best, but here are some cheap and effective Falcon builds for when you wanna run dual pancakes, or Falcon with Streshog and, Y-Wing or B-Wing or something: PILOTS Chewbacca (50)YT-1300 (42), Predator (3), Jan Ors (2), Recon Specialist (3) Chewbacca (52)YT-1300 (42), Lone Wolf (2), C-3PO (3), Millennium Falcon (1), Engine Upgrade (4) The first build thinks that "always" taking title and C-3P0 is a bit of hyperbole. If it was the same attack then no, you cannot modify the dice more than once, however gunner gives you a separate attack if your first misses. 1 Grizzwar reacted to this
Lord Sloth 4 Posted January 29, 2016 I thought dice could be modified many times but you can only re-roll a roll once? Else you can't use a focus on re-rolls from a target lock?
Wibs 61 Posted January 29, 2016 Can't find, where it was written, but Gunner is an another attack. One can even declare a different target for it.

Can you use pilot abilities like Hans to re-roll secondary weapons attacks? Thirdly.... being 2 separate attacks makes sense to me.

Once per attack, so if your first attack misses, Gunner (or Luke) gives you a second one, and you can use Han's ability again. 1 Grizzwar reacted to this
