Droidlover 203 Posted January 19, 2016 I've recently been a big fan of Vessery with Wired, and have been trying to come up with a good build for him with the new TIE Advanced Prototype. 100 points Vessery, wired 36 pts Inquisitor, Juke, title, autothrusters 30 Pts Sienar test pilot, title 17 pts x2 Wired with Vessery gives him some defensive rerolls, something needed for the expensive Defender. The TAPs with their titles give them better survivability than the TIE FO, and has perfect synergy with Vessery's pilot ability. I think that Juke was made for the Inquisitor, as he should have his evade token ready when he fires early. That's three dice at long range enhanced by a target lock, mitigating the defender's extra defense die and an evade he rolls on his regular dice. Ouch. When Imperial Veterans comes out, Vessery will have the X7 title giving him even more defense, and a 2 point initiative bid. Looking for opinions. What holes or weaknesses will this have? Gersun 544 Posted January 20, 2016 How often is Vessery stressed? I run him fairly often, but he is usually only stressed for 1-2 turns a game. I like Crackshot, or you could go VI to have two PS8s.
Droidlover 203 Posted January 20, 2016 I have used debris fields with him. I start with a hard turn and then cross a debris field, giving him two stress. Yes I risk taking a shield hit, but this is plenty to keep him stressed for the game, especially when the x-7 title becomes available. Those defensive rerolls have been amazing. 1 WWHSD reacted to this
WWHSD 9,273 Posted January 20, 2016 I just worry about the 1/8 times that you lose the a shield burning through the debris.

dungeonfish 62 Posted January 20, 2016 My gut feeling is that Lone Wolf would be better and just try to stay Focused most of the time.
