First Order Aces And HLC Carrier

Rate 1-10 and some helpful advice please.

The plan is to have the FO aces flank the Defender (Zeta close Omega further away) while the Defender blasts away with a focused HLC in hopes of landing some hits. Engine upgrade is for arc dodging if necessary.

Try using Rexler with Twin Ion Engine MK.II and Push the Limit, that will be a hilarious ship moving with 11 green maneuvers, so...move, focus and TL in each turn if needed. About the rest, i like it...maybe swapping Zeta Ace for Epsilon Leader (so you can remove stress and make you Defender 4k even stressed that turn). Omega Ace is great, PTL plus EU makes it very unpredictable with movement, or you can go with Epsilon Ace (activating with PS 12 while untouched). I like to use the FOs with Comm Relay, gives you the chance of Focus each turn you didn't use an Evade token, nice upgrade in defense imho.

Change zeta ace to zeta leader.. same thing only non conditional and cheaper.

 

PtL will work fine on omega leader but theres less action dependent options that are widely considered superior.. i.e. juke + comms relay, also cheaper, more effective.

 

Brath really needs predator. You'll find outmaneuver doesn't jive well with his wanting to stay at range plus he needs rerolls to conserve his focus for his ability or else to free up BR action. Lose the engine he doesn't need it. Instead he should probably have a hull upgrade since he's public enemy #1 here.  

 

If you tighten this ship a little you could fit a 3rd ship.. possilby backstabber and mauler.. these two with zeta leader sounds pretty yummy alongside brath actually.

I have the aces, which are cheaper, and I don't have juke or comms relay, darn it I NEED the expansion.

Just proxy them to get some testing in. You'd be amazed how many people are really cool about that sort of thing.
