This is merely a representation of some lists that were brought to a local tournament being played at another local store. Consequently, I do know that the 3 Victories+Slaved Turrets+Massive Rhymer Ball got 2nd, and the player who got 1st considered himself lucky to win that game against it... And James is more than likely to keep taking those 3 Victories if they're competitive. But beyond that. Not a clue. I wasn't there and employed a Bothan to even get those pictures. Drasnighta 26,833 Posted January 10, 2016 Winning list at this tournament was:ISD-II - ECM- Gunnery - XI7 - Relentless - Admiral Ozzel - Leading Shots Gladiator I - Demolisher - APTs Gladiator I - Ordnance Ex Raider I - Ordnance Ex Raider I - Ordnance Ex (Most Wanted, Fire Lanes, Intel Sweep) Guy lives ~2 hours out of town in a Neighboring Town. Feels he attributes his victory to sheer luck vs the Rhymerball of Doom, which ended up killing his ISD - but his remaining ships were able to down 2 Victories in response. When I asked him if he'd take that to Store Champs, his reply was "I don't know, I was thinking of switching to Rebels for a bit." Since he's been using Ozzel since he was out. MoffZen 760 Posted January 10, 2016 Fleet ambush is okay with a fighter based list, because fleet ambush favours fleets that have short range, but you'll be at a severe disadvantage against brawling Imperial lists who actually like to be up close. Why not go for Fire Lanes ? Englishpete 1,379 Posted January 11, 2016 The main issue I see with your ships is the lack of ECM's, with all the incoming fire and accuracies I have been seeing lately, keeping that Brace in play is important. If anything, I'm the one throwing the Dice and ACCs and putting my opponent on the back foot... If I did, I don't know... 2 X-wings wouldn't be worth losing. Kicking more around...Hope with 4 X-Wings is to Engage and Damage a portion of the enemy Squadron Contingent, so the AFMK-IIA puts on the heavy hurt to them... The MC80 Assault is as Tanky as I've got Points for, and being on its own, its fairly "expendable", in the series that it doesn't have my Admiral on it...That, and the MC80 is almost finished being painted...
